Gautham Vasudev Menon and AR Rahman collaborate for “Bathukamma” festival song
Indian film industry’s finest personalities – colossal filmmaker Gautham Vasudev Menon and Academy Award winner AR Rahman have collaborated on the special song for Bathukamma, the colorful festival of Telangana. The song is produced by Telangana Jagruthi led by MLC K Kavitha, with poet and singer Mittapalli Surender penning lyrics and crooning them. The song was shot for a couple of days recently in Bhoodan Pochampally. The song is scheduled for release on October 6, and with such big brand names involved, the Bathukamma festival is sure to turn the global spotlights.
