Free Eye Screening Camp at Vellore for Ex-servicemen and Family by Indian Army and Lions Club
A Free Eye Screening Camp was organised by Lions Club Chennai and Vellore under the aegis of Headquarters Dakshin Bharat Area on 19 March 2022 at Army Veterans’ Welfare Complex at Katpadi in Vellore. More than 400 Ex-Servicemen, families and Veer Naris benefited from the camp. In view of the overwhelming response, Lt Gen A Arun, YSM, SM, VSM, General Officer Commanding Dakshin Bharat Area has assured to organise similar eye camps in other parts of the state.
