FLAG-IN CEREMONY FOR REPUBLIC DAY-2022 NCC CADETS
NCC Cadets who excelled in Republic Day 2022, were honoured in Chief Minister Rally at Kalaivanar Arangam, Chennai today. Thiru Siva. V Meyyanathan, Honourable Minister for Environment Climate Change and Youth Welfare & Sports Development, Government of Tamil Nadu presided over the function and felicitated RDC Contingent with Rs 2, 27,000/- (Rupees Two Lakhs Twenty Seven Thousand Only). He also presented the CM’s Banner to the Best Performing Group for the current training year in addition to other state level awards.
NCC Cadets of Tamil Nadu have brought laurels by their exempl ary performance at the recently concluded Republic Day Camp 2022 at New Delhi. Cadet R Aishwarya of Stella Maris College bagged the Gold Medal in the Best Cadet Senior Wing Navy cate gory and was felicitated by our Honourable Prime Minister. Cadet K Pooja Shivani of Women Christian College, Chennai won the Silv er Medal and Cadet Divya Bharati of Dr Ambedkar Law Unive rsity won Bronze Medal in the Best Cadet Senior Wing in Air Force and Army respectively. The State Contingent stood overall fourth at the National level.
