It’s a most prestigious and gladdening moment for the entire team of Vijay Sethupathi’s ‘Maharaja’ as Nithilan Saminathan wins ‘Best Director’ Award at Indian Film Festival of Melbourne. What’s so appealing is the fact that the critically-acclaimed filmmaker was nominated alongside the country’s astounding filmmakers like Karan Johar (Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani), Vidhu Vinod Chopra (12th Fail), Imtiaz Ali (Amar Singh Chamkila), Kabir Khan (Chandu Champion), Rajkumar Hirani (Dunki), and Rahul Sadasivan (Bramayugam).
