FEFSI President Director RK Selvamani said, “I have been a close friend of Dilli Babu sir for past 8 years. He is such a humble soul with good qualities. His smiling face never fades and he hasn’t hurt even a single person. He has always excelled as a good human being. If someone wants to pay their respect to him, it’s better to follow his good qualities and lead a meaningful life. I request his heir Poornesh to follow his path and he will be glad to see him achieve a great status as an actor. I request him to continue giving chance to talented directors. The entire film industry will support Axess Film Factory forever.”

Amma Creations T Siva said, “Dilli Babu sir has been such a good soul that he would inspire everyone around him. The entry industry owes a lot to him and we will be always available to help in anyway to make this production house retain its glory. I also wish Dev to become a successful hero.”

Producer Nandagopal said, “I have not been so close to Dilli Babu sir, but he has been such a great help for me as producer. Very rarely, we come across such producers, who encourage the young and fresh filmmakers to embark on their directorial journey. I wish Axess Film Factory that it may continue to do the same. My prayers and wishes to the production house.”

Mr. Ashok said, “Everyone would have seen him in different perspectives. You all know him as a producer, but I have seen my uncle as a good human. We cannot imagine his office space and ventures without him. We cannot outperform him in any way. But we will continue to follow his footprints..”

Director Ramkumar said, “It’s so painful to be a part of such an event. As everyone knows, my film script or Ratchasan was rejected 35 times. It was high time, when I got depressed and decided to quit. The meeting him with changed my life and he instantly agreed to produce the film after hearing the script narration. It’s hard to find someone, who can place all trust on us, and it’s a gift. I feel heavily remorseful and he will always remain special in my memories.”

Director ARK Saravan said, “It’s such a hard and rare scenario to find such a rare gem like Dilli Babu sir. I never imagined for such a painful event. We all decided to kick-start Maragadha Nanayam 2, but never expected such a huge loss. Today I can see that many good hearts are here, This shows the respect and love people have for him. As a family, we will overcome this painful barrier, and add more value to his name.”

Actor Jayaprakash said, “I am not close to Dilli Babu sir and have met him only few times, but his loss has disturbed me a lot. It’s because of his true good nature. I pray that his soul may rest in peace.”

Actor Ramesh Thilak,”I rarely spoke with him. I got a chance to say Hi to him during the success meet or Oh My Kadavule. I am still unable to believe that he is no more. I pray that his soul rest in peace.”

Director Sri Ganesh said “I feel blessed for having known Dilli Babu sir for years. He would always respect and value me by sharing his experience of creating movies. He would always feel happy for directors and technicians who worked with him, when they collaborate with top actors. He has built a great work culture and his entire production house is like a family. I strongly believe that it will continue to be the same way and make his soul more happy.”

Director Mu. Maran said, “Usually when a new director calls up any producer, they would reject. But he instantly asked me to come and meet him in office. He and Poornesh listened to the script, and signed me for the project
What was so shocking and surprising was that he wanted to perform the role of John Vijay in Iravukku Aayiram Kangal. When I told him that he wouldn’t suit this role, he instantly agreed and decided to quit that idea. He has been a tremendous support throughout the project. I can’t believe the fact that I cannot call or speak with him anymore.”

Producer Abhinaya said, “I had the opportunity to collaborate with him in Oh My Kadavule. He agreed to produce the film in just a week after listening to script. He is man of vision and big dreams. I am so shocked and unable to experience this loss. May his soul rest in peace.”

Director Satish, “Dilli Babu sir would give respect to all equally. When I met him first time, and narrated the script of Bachelor, he didn’t give any expression. I strongly believed that he would never call me back, and even decided to return native place. After 10 days, he called me to narrate the script again to his entire family. He took all inputs from their family members and followed it thoroughly during making of film. The respect he gave for his mother is so unconditional. Despite many advising him not to work with him, he signed the agreement, gave an advance amount and started the project. I pray and wish Axess Film Factory continues to promote and encourage young talents.”

Director P.V. Shankar, “I am still unable to beleive that he is no more. Dilli Babu sir would always be hardwork, sincere and dedicated. I would always ask him why he isn’t eating properly. I have been close with him for past 9 years. He is such a beautiful soul, who never disrespects anyone. When I got the news about his demise. His smiling face didn’t fade even after his demise. I pray his soul may rest in peace.”

Producer-Director Praveen Gandhi said, “I am angry with God that he took away Dilli Babu sir so soon. Its hard to see selfless person in a movie industry that is filled with ambitious and selfish people. He has paved a successful way for many filmmakers. I beleive directors working under his home banner now will have more responsibility to give their best, so that his soul will bless them all.”

Director Badri Venkatesh said, “I am so angry with him. Before few months, I suggested him to check up his health. But he kept neglecting it. I wish Poornesh that he contiues to carry the legacy. GREAT PEOPLE DONT DIE, THEY INSPIRE.”

Sakthi Film Factory, B. Sakthivelan said, “Many producers attempt to encourage fresh and young talents efficiently, but they fail to pursue what they plan. However,Dilli Babu sir was such a genuine person, who would consistently exert more efforts and make sure that the young directors and technicians achieve. During the COVID phase, I couldn’t force any theater owners to give collections. I told Babu sir it was a difficult situation and he didn’t disturb me till the Lockdown was over. He was such a good-hearted person. When it comes to business, he was more genuine, and would never change his word as promised. If any new producers are planning to enter film industry, I would tell them to cultivate at least 50 percent of his quality.”

Actor Ashok Selvan said, “Dilli Babu sir revived my career. He guided me and my sister with so much care. I never had any market in industry, till Oh My Kadavule. He has laid paid for me and I am travelling on it. I owe a lot to entire production team and wish them success.”

PRO Suresh Chandra said,”During the launch of Valayam movie, Dilli Babu sir and I discussed that it would be either his 50th birthday celebration of 25th Movie Launch. Unfortunately, I am urged by unfavorable situation to be a part of such occasion. Job security has always been a question in the film industry, but he made sure that he never broke the pact with anyone including me. I am always a call away, and am readily available for the production house.”

Actress Nikki Galrani said, “It’s so disappointing that we were supposed to launch Maragadha Nanayam 2 this month. Even during the critical health conditions, he made sure that the production house functions properly and gave complete guidance to Poornesh. I pray that his soul rest in peace.”

Actor Aadhi said, “Dilli Babu sir is such a smart business man, but he always used his smartness for good things. Within a short span, he produced many beautiful movies, but never decided to go for big budget projects. He has been the beacon of many aspiring filmmakers. The movies he has produced will keep him immortal forever.”

The event concluded with Actor Dev rendering an emotional note. He said, “I am emotionally inclined to the situation, as Dilli Babu uncle had been a guide. When I wanted to learn cinema, he created the best environment for me to cultivate the art of cinema. I am so thankful to him. I will continue to work hard and give my best to keep up the respect and love, he has earned. Thank you all for making this event so special and memorable.”
