Story-;
For Benjamin, who thinks of boxing as his life, the identity of being a North Chennai person stands in the way of his progress, and despite his talent, he is not satisfied. In this, Benjamin, who is heartbroken, thinks that what he has lost, the town should not lose, and is living like a North Chennai Rajan for his town. But he is selling ganja in the town along with his brother Joseph who sells ganja.Although Benjamin condemned this several times, Tambi did not listen. Meanwhile, in one of the incidents, brother Joseph, together with Kiruba, solves the problem of Be njamin Polandu by putting his brother and Kiruba in the middle of the road, so that he will not work anymore.W hen it comes to the question of who will go to jail in the incident, Krupa tells Joseph to go to jail and promises to get him out in a week.But Krupa did not keep his promise. The rest of the story is what Joseph who comes out a nd how Selva gets involved.

Benjamin who resides in North madras considers boxing as his life. However, the identity of being a North chenn ai person stands in the way of his progress, and despite his talent, he is unable to shine and make progress. In this situation, Benjamin, who is heartbroken, thinks even if he loses, his area North madras shouldn’t lose and he sta rts living like ‘Vada Chennai’ Rajan.Vijayakumar shines as Selva and he has put a lot of effort as well. Monisha Mo han who paired with him is as useless as trisha in the ‘Tirupachi’ movie.
The romance track also seems farcical. av inash has done a tremendous job as Joseph and he has elevated the ba d characterization to the next level. Action sequences deserve a special mention. But, the haywire writing ruins everything. Govind Vasantha’s musical tries to keep us engaged but none of the scenes make an impact. The waf er-thin layer screenplay fails to give us any i mpact.Vijayakumar, who is playing Selva, has shown a dashing perfo rmance as a young man from North Chennai .
I don’t know why Monisha Mohan, who acted opposite him. There is no big catch in the love between the t wo. A vinash’s performance as Joseph is death-defying. Director Abbas tried to tell the story in an interesting way in th e making and it is commendable. The realism in the fight scenes and the characters in the film brought us close r to Dutt. However, the interest in the making of the film has become a major weakness for the film. The filmogra phy was remarkable.
Music director Govind Vasantha has worked hard to make the scenes stick in our minds as much as possible But unfortunately his music sounds like noise to us because of the lack of depth in the story. It is an undeniable fact t hat Fight Club was not much enjoyed because many other films about the problems that m ay exist in North Che nnai have come out in the same plot more interesting than this one.However, on the cont a ry, his brother Josep h sells weed along with his friend Kiruba in the same locality.
Even though Benjamin conde mns this several times, Joseph never listens to him. Benjamin beats his brother and along with his friend Kiruba, he murders his brother. When it comes to the question of who will go to jail for this murder, Kiruba tells Joseph to go to jail and promises to bail him out in a week. But Kiruba doesn’t keep his promi se. The rest of the story is about what happens when Joseph comes out on bail and how Selva interferes in this st ory lane.Also, there have been numerous stories based on North chennai and there have been several blockb ust ers too. So when we compare, this movie hardly makes any impact. If you have some patience, this movie is a one time watchable material on the OTT.
