Story-;
Madankumar, who is preparing for the IAS exam, Vignesh, a dancer working in a software company, and Harishk umar, a rich houseboy, are three friends who stay in the same house. Similarly, Jeevi Aparna, Charumisa and Ben galuru girl Niranjana, who comes from the village to study at a college in Chennai, become friends. Hasin extends a hand of friendship to them as a senior friend who saves them from rocking.Despite having a girlfriend, Madan Kumar is frustrated that he does not allow himself even the tiniest of touches. Vignesho, who works for a softwa re company, is a perfect sophist. Harishkumar is confused about intimate problems before marriage. In this situa tion, the three friends go on a (pleasure) trip to Kodaikanal to enjoy themselves.Similarly, Haasin, a well-to-do co llege girl from a well-to-do family, attends weekend parties to make ends meet.
Seeing this, the three friends get ready to live a similar luxurious life through him, so Hasin organizes their first p arty at a resort in Kodaikanal.Three friends who are disappointed that they did not get what they expected and three girlfriends who came to enjoy the party for the first time meet in a difficult situation and stay in the same r oom. An unexpected problem occurs at the party for the friends who have gone out on some strange dare. After helping them, these three young men get into trouble.Did they recover from this problem? ‘Enjoy’ is a film that is aimed entirely at the youth. As the title suggests, is this movie going to keep the viewers entertained for two hours? Bye. What is the lesson for them? What the film tells us is the rest of the story.The attitude of many young people to day, be it male or female, is to live a fun life before marriage and accordingly, the luxurious life of the upper class lures the middle class and poor youth into that illusion. All the characters in this film, which is based on this the me, have expressed the mixed feelings of today’s youth like thirst, passion, speed and the resulting confusion.The film gives equal importance to all the three protagonists, Madan Kumar who is struggling in his IAS studies as he yearns to get a little happiness from his girlfriend, Vignesh who thinks that every girl he sees will come on a date with him, and Harish Kumar who gets into intimate problems before marriage.Dancer Vignesh has taken a little extra comedy in this. It has also become a workout for him.
Madankumar has accurately expressed the mental flow of today’s youth who fall in love even though he looks a bit serious. Despite looking like a chocolate boy, these three are amazing in action scenes as well.Similarly the c haracters of Jeevi Aparna and Charumisa are beautifully crafted as a reflection of a young woman who comes fr om the village to the city to study, nervously confronts the culture and is confused as to how to approach it. They too have nailed their characters with flawless performances.Their friend Niranjana’s mature speech and attitude and the romance after the break gives her a little extra mark in this trio.Haasin has given a wonderful performa nce in a way that makes you wish that all the seniors in the college would not be such good friends. Even though she changes her lifestyle due to circumstances, she initially tries to restrain and discipline her friends who try to become like her, which adds to her respect.
Sai Tanya’s character as Madankumar’s serious girlfriend is a perfect example of how young women today shoul d approach love safely. Apart from them, police inspector Billy Murali, who turns into a terror police officer and gives a twist in the climax, resort owner “Kaladpadai” Jai, who shows a decent villainy of running a weekend par ty, and psycho villain Yogram, who approaches women in a monstrous way, also get attention.In KN Akbar’s cine matography, the scenes related to Kodaikanal rather than Chennai give us the feeling that we have gone on a tri p. Similarly, KM Ryan’s music has given the appropriate songs for this film, especially the two songs that come af ter the interval, the background music by Aram Sabesh-Murali has added vibrancy. Mani Kumaran’s cinemat ogr aphy also lends a helping hand to that vibrancy.Debutant director Perumal Kashi has created this story to create awareness among the youth. So let’s praise him first.
