Story -:
The story of the film is a funny and cauti onary tale of how those who are caught up in the monthly installment scheme, w here everything from Eversilver to a hou se can be easily bought, become broke.
The hero, Sadasivam Chinnaraj, falls in love with the heroine, Sai Tanya. After c alculating love, they get married and are leading a good life, when he suddenly lo ses his job. As a result, a person who doe es not have a monthly income struggles because he cannot pay the monthly ins tallments for the two-wheeler and carh e bought, and the plight of those who g et caught up in the illusion of monthly in stallments, ‘EMI’ (monthly installment) is a popular film and a lesson for the peo ple.

Movie Review -:
Sadasivam Chinnaraj, who has done two jobs as a director and hero in his first fil m, has acted in a way that does not even recognize the identity of the first film. S adasivam, who has not only been as sim ple as the boy next door in appearance b ut also in acting, has easily won people’s hearts. Sadasivam, who has skillfully ha ndled the role of those who buy the thin gs they want in monthly installments an d then suffer, has brought back old mem ories for many who have gone through s uch periods through his acting.
Although Sai Tanya, who plays the heroi ne, does not have much opportunity, she has perfectly played the role of revealin g that the main reason why men get stuc k in monthly installments is women in m any ways, such as girlfriend and wife, an d she has also played the role of a good wife who stands by her husband in a dif ficult situation and faces the problem.
Director Perarasu, who plays the heroin e’s father, does not speak even enough i n the film to speak on stage, which is a g reat disappointment to his fans.
Senthi Kumari, who plays the hero’s mo ther, comes and goes as usual. The come dy of Black Pandi, who plays the hero’s f riend, and Sun TV Aadhavan, who plays the monthly installment collector, make s you laugh. O.A.K. Sundar, Lollu Saba M anohar also make an appearance.
With music by composer Srinath Pichai and lyrics by director Perarasu and Vive k, all the songs are commercial genres. T he background music is also no slouch.
Cinematographer Francis, who has pres esented the film in a colorful manner, ha s taken great care of the hero since he is a newcomer.
Although we know what is going to hap pen at the beginning of the film, editor R .Ramar easily conveys the emotions of t he characters to the audience and make s them become one with the film.
Director Sadasivam Chinnaraj, who has not made the screenplay a propaganda film, which describes the dangers that t hose who enjoy many facilities through monthly installments face when they a re unable to pay them, has told many th ings to create awareness among those w ho have not faced such experiences.
Not only does he tell how middle-class f amiies are suffering due to bank loans, b ut he also brings many good things along ng with the screenplay, such as the Tamil Nad adu government scheme to provide free treatment of up to Rs. 1 lakh in priv ate hospitals to those who get into accid dents on national highways, and the nee ed to w ear helmets, making it not only a n enter taining film but also a useful wor k for th e people.
Overall, ‘EMI’ (Monthly Installment) is a film that people should definitely watch.
