Devil movie ReviewDevil movie Review
Purna, distraught by her husband’s infidelity, travels with Trigun’s sudden friendship. As their friendship grows closer, Trigun falls in love with Poorna. While Poorna also comes to accept his friendship, her husband Vidharth realizes his mistake and apologizes to her. Due to this, Poorna’s home life becomes pleasant as she falls in love with her husband. But Trikun is struggling to forget Poorna. The story of ‘Devil’ is about how his suffering changes Poorna’s life.
The story revolves around Vidharth, Poorna and Trikun, and all three of them carry the story very well with their performances.
Poorna, who has revealed through her eyes how a married woman suffers when the things she expects from her husband, is not wrong in calling Mishkin’s workshop her school, and it is evident in her every move. Poorna, who handles all the emotions like longing, grief, love, anger and confusion, carries most of the film on her shoulders.
Vidharth, who plays Poorna’s husband, plays an ordinary role, but he makes the most of his opportunity and grabs the attention of the entire audience in one scene. Although Vidharth is new to such a role, he does it with understanding and gets applause.
Although not competing with Vidharth and Poorna, Trikun proves to be the right person for the role given to him.
Although there are no characters of note in the film apart from three characters, it is a big disappointment that Mishkin, who plays a minor role to observe, does not make any impact with the role.
Cinematographer Karthik Muthukumar has captured the night scenes in an enjoyable way and has captured the emotions of the characters in every scene.
Composer Myshkin’s music is all about repeating songs. But, he is lacking in background music.
Although the main theme of the film is the counterfeiting of the triangle and its consequences, director Aditya has conveyed it emotionally to the audience.
Even though the characters travel in the wrong direction due to the situation, the director Aditya has handled the screenplay and the scenes very smartly so that the audience does not get a wrong view of them, and has recorded the effect of wrong relationships in life and the idea that we should forgive and forget the wrongdoers.
After knowing that this is what he wanted to say, he has to make the fans sit for the last half hour, while director Aditya, who is thinking of ending the film on a positive note, lacks any logic in the magic he has done for the film.
Although it is a story of advice to couples, director Aditya, who has emphatically recorded the idea that women are not objects, moves it interestingly in his Gurunathar style and gets appreciation.
After all, what is the real ghost? This ‘Devil’ is a must watch film that explains that.
