‘Dear Death’ is produced by Satish Nagarajan under SNR Films. Sridhar Venkatesan has written the story, scree nplay and dialogues of this film starring Santhosh Pratap. Director Premkumar has directed this film.So far death has been seen as negative. But death can be scary but also majestic.. The story of this film is how death speaks to us as a human being. This film is based on everyday events and mixed with real events and a bit of fantasy.Produ cer Satish Nagarajan says about this film, “My grandfather PS Murthy was a famous director in Kannada film ind ustry. He has worked as a cinematographer for hundreds of Tamil films including Policeman’s Daughter and Mal aiyata Mangai.
He won the National Award for the film Navajivana. So naturally I became interested in cinema. When my friend Sridhar Venkatesan and I discussed the story of this film, we made this film with the idea that we can start this di fferent venture ourselves.Narrator Sridhar Venkatesan says about the film, “Let’s make this film by mixing real events and a bit of imagination. Everyone who watches this film can identify themselves in some way with the ch aracters in the film.So far, when talking about the subject of death here, they have talked through a character called Eman. This film is a new attempt to see what it would be like if a character were to die for the first time and speak in human form.
There are four stories in this film namely love, mother, child and frien dship. We have hyperlinked how death is associated with these four stories. When Santhosh Pratap was told about the story of this film, he was surprised that it was a new venture and immediately agreed and acted with great cooperation. Sai Jeevita, who plays a ch ld star in this film, has acted very bravely in the death scene. The trailer and songs of the film have already been well received. The film has received a ‘U’ certificate from the censors and is slated to release in December
