*Colors Tamil to present the World Television Premiere of the fast-paced police action drama, Thuppakki Munai this Sunday*
Chennai, 22 February, 2023 : Colors Tamil, Viacom18’s Tamil Entertainment channel, is all set to bring to you the World Television Premiere of “Thuppakki Munai” this Sunday, February 26th, 2023 at 2 pm.
Whizzing past morality, relationships and mother-son conflict, Thuppaki Munai, featuring Vikram Prabhu and H ansika Motwani revolves around a no-nonsense cop and an encounter specialist who is designated with a spe ci al task to finish a criminal who might or may not have committed the crime. Amidst this uncertainty, he charges and hunts down the criminals involved in the gruesome crime. An interesting line-up of senior and seasoned arti sts namely M S Bhaskar and Aadukulam Naren along with Kalyani and Ammu Abhirami are part of the support ing cast.
An action drama set in Rameshwaram involving young and dynamic encounter specialist ACP Birla Bose (Vikira m Prabhu) all set to avenge and track down the criminals involved in the gruesome rape and murder of a minor girl (Ammu Abhirami). A Bihari Maoist (RJ Sha) is wrongly framed and targeted by a set of henchmen (Boxer Dhe ena) who are all involved in this murder. With a terrific track record in the past and getting back into action post a suspension, encounter expert Birla Bose is assigned the task of saving Aazad (RJ Sha) using his girlfriend’s influ ence, as she works for the Prime Minister’s Office and handover the real perpetrators of the crime to the police. Bullets keep flying and gunshots speak more than the dialogues.
Commenting on the movie, Director Dinesh Selvaraj said, “Vikram Prabhu has done a terrific job in getting into the skin of the character and giving us a very convincing performance through his dedication and sincerity in this movie. The action sequences and chases along with the focus on how justice is delivered when the real criminals are check mated and caught red-handed talks about so many social elements which I believe will connect very w ell with the viewers of Colors Tamil in this popcorn entertainer. The lead pair form a cute couple and other artists like M S Bhaskar and Aadukulam Naren also entertain with their impressive performance.”
