India’s leading travel-media company, Sphere Travelmedia & Exhibitions is organising the ‘India International Tr avel Mart’ (IITM) in Chennai from the 04-06 August 2023. The first event of the calendar year was organized in B engaluru from the 28 – 30 July 2023 at the Tripura Vasini Hall, Palace Grounds. The event got tremendous respo nse, with around 2500 trade visitors from the travel trade attending the mart.
It is a proud moment for Sphere Travelmedia & Exhibitions as it completes twenty-three years of providing the travel–trade industry and discerning buyers an opportunity to do business.
With over 200 exhibitors from various travel-trade organizations and tourism boards from 20 Indian states and 10 international destinations, IITM will showcase a variety of spheres such as pilgrimages, adventures, culture a nd heritage, beaches, Wildlife, hill-stations and many more. The event offered a range of holiday options right fr om pursuing the One Horned Indian Rhinoceros to the desert festivals of Rajasthan to the UNESCO World Herit age Sites of Karnataka to the spiritual circuits of Tamil Nadu. The range of diverse and exciting destinations on display added tremendous value to the holiday-seeking plans.
The event is of immense importance to the tourism industry and which promoted tourist destinations of Karnata ka by showcasing aspects of the tourism industry such as archaeology, culture and heritage of Karnataka. The ev ent provided a be big boost to the promotion of the up-coming Mysuru Dasara Festival.
