Story-;
Gomathi (Urvashi) who has separated from her husband and lives alone with her son, Gomathi’s son Ravi has an eye problem and wants to start a life alone. Gomati has a lot of devotion to God, so he keeps an idol of Lord Gan esha in his house and worships it. A woman named Parvatham asks for money for the idol of Ganesha in Goma thi’s house and tells Ravi that she will pay as much as she wants, but Gomathi wants to build a temple with this idol of Ganesha. In the end, did Ravi solve the eye problem by selling the Ganesha idol and start a business? or no t Or did Gomati build a temple with that idol? or not That is the rest of the story of the film… This story is direct ed by director Subhash Lalitha Subramanian. Everyone’s acting is outstanding in the film Cinematography BGM The film is tough and the screenplay is uninteresting .

Balu Varghese is the son of estranged couple Guru Somasundham and Urvashi. Balu Varghese lives with his mo ther Urvashi. Parlu Varghese, who works in a cake shop, has no vision in the dark. That means vision is visible on ly if there is good light. Due to this defect, the girl suffers from not being available for marriage. He also worries about not being able to devote himself properly to his work. So he plans to run his own shop. But no mone y.Urv ashi has been worshiping an idol of her family deity, Pillaiyar, in her house for many years. Urvashi comes as an ardent Ganesha devotee.This idol of Pillaiyar is very valuable. Some people want to reach this idol.
A team comes for it and negotiates with Balu Varghese. It says that if you give the idol, you will get many lakhs. Balu is reluctant at first but then agrees.Finally, the rest of the story of the film is whether Balu Varghese’s drea ms come true with that statue.All the actors who acted in the film are the right choice. There are many places for comedy in the film but the director left it out of line. The whole story dragged and dragged and the director mad e us take it to the peak of patience.Preservation of ancient idols is the prime duty of our country, and that could be the grammar of a film’s hero.
But, in this film, the director has tried the opposite by bringing the climax scenes.. A song from the film is a listen ing version. Cinematography is colorful.There are no big scenes for Kurusoma Sundaram in the film. They have dragged the climax scene to such an extent that it makes you long to end the film.Charles Enterprises – Famine for entertainment… When the entire story is built on a weak foundation, it becomes challenging to excite the a udience. Almost the same is the case with Charles Enterprises directed by Subhash Lalitha Subramanian. He wan ts to tell a story about a young man who sets up his own venture and struggles financially.
But the development aspect of that idea as a script is burdened with predictable and sometimes inappropriate scenes.Ravi Kumaraswamy is our main protagonist. He has this medical condition of peripheral vision loss. Ravi lives with his mother Gomati, who is an ardent devotee of Ganapati. They keep this Ganesha idol inherited from their ancestors in their house. In the movie Charles Enterprises, we see developments in Ravi’s life when he me ets a group who are willing to buy the statue for a substantial sum.Movies excite us when the conflicts are concr ete and believable.
At Charles Enterprises, the only obstacle facing our struggling hero is getting the statue from a car parked outsi de his house. It is also worth noting that the size of the statue is not large. But Subhash Lalitha Subramanian wan ts it to be a big task and decides to set up various roadblocks like monitoring neighbors, CCTV cameras to make it look like a challenge for the hero. But unfortunately, there is nothing in it that convinces us that this is a great task. There is a sequence at the end when Kalaiyarasan’s Charles tries to hide from Urvasi’s Gomati. Priyadarsh an’s comedy set-up was so long that even when I saw her, I wondered what the big problem was.
Balu Varghese as Ravi is in his usual style here. His portrayal of Ravi’s confusion and hopelessness has a very fa miliar feel. Urvashi was a solid choice to play the character of Gomati as she has that impeccable comic timing. B ut overall, the film doesn’t really use him effectively. And there were one or two scenes that were funny, but I felt like they just added her to the joke. Kalaiyarasan, the titular character Charles, had the ruggedness and grace to be that character. I don’t know why Guru Somasundaram was needed as Ravi’s father for this film. Abijah Shika la, Manikandan Achari, Sujith Shankar are other notable names in the star cast.
The writing that struggles to build solid layers around the central idea makes Charles Enterprises look like a dra gged-out comedy. Seeing Ravi’s father outside Charles’s house, looking around Eli’s house, which is believed to b e Ganapati’s vehicle, the leads they were trying to explore were suddenly abandoned. And instead of reading tr acks that might add strength to the story, Subhash Lalitha Subramanian’s script follows a lot of clumsy jokes, act ion set pieces, etc. When the film slips into Charles’ love story, you don’t feel the need to watch it.
aspect of Ravi’s life as it does not contribute much to the dramas in his life. Family feud jokes, Ravi’s eye level fe elings, Ravi losing his job etc. are all squeezed into the script. But none of them really exist.The movie aims to be a divine comedy with a happy ending that balances everything in the climax. But the writing lacks clarity on how it wants to develop the drama, creating a film with incoherent scenes along the main track. Charles Enterprises is not a film that tests your patience, but fails to sustain your curiosity.
