Indian Navy at Chennai organised Band Concert as part of Navy Day Celebrations
As part of the Navy Week celebrations, the Indian Navy at Chennai organised an outdoor Band Concert, following all the COVID protocol procedure at INS Adyar on 21 November 2020.The Hon’ble Governor of Tamil Nadu Shri Banwari Lal Purohit was the Chief Guest for the Event. Flag Officer Commanding Tamil Nadu & Puducherry Naval Area Rear Admiral Puneet Chadha and other officers and guests were present for the one hour music program.

The Eastern Naval Command Band related closely to its audience, incorporating different forms and genres of music; through music it wove a rich tapestry, embodying India’s abiding characteristic of “Unity in Diversity” .As part of the performance, ships of the Tamil Nadu and Puducherry Naval Area were illuminated and carried out a steam past.
