Arima Patti is a village where casteism has come to a head. In this town, the hero Pawan falls in love with Meghna, a girl from another caste, since school days and gets married one day.
The Panchayat leaders of the village come to know about this and get Pawan’s father Charlie to apologize in public and also restrict his family from having any contact with Pawan. Charlie’s father, Akho, does not support the panchayat because his family is in the panchayat.
Meghna’s brother Birla Bose roams with a large gang in search of power.
The rest of the story of the film is whether Pawan continues his life with his romantic wife despite these objections or is bound by the love of his father caste
Debutant Pawan has acted realistically without being the first film and still needs to pay some attention to his acting.
Meghna has fulfilled the role given to her.
Charlie has proved his acting skills in this too.
Other Katha roles like Iman Annachi ‘Supergood’ Subramani, Aksho, Birla Bose have done their roles perfectly.
Music by music composer Mani Amudavan and cinematography by cinematographer JP Menum add some strength to the film.
Director Ramesh Kandasamy has tried to present the story of casteism in a slightly different way, the screenplay needs more depth.
Arimapatti Sakthivel is not enough to cinema.
