Apollo Proton Cancer Centre Launches India’s First Video Newsletter
Chennai, 6th September 2021: Apollo Proton Cancer Centre (APCC), the first Proton Therapy Centre in South Asia & the Middle East, launched India’s first video newsletter – PRONEWS. Aimed at reaching readers with the latest in Cancer care and treatment, PRONEWS will be a quarterly compilation that will educate, empower and elevate the knowledge of its readers.
The first issue of PRONEWS focuses on the purpose and passion that drives the team at APCC. The first story in this issue of PRONEWS is about personalized medicine alias precision medicine – which is a treatment of cancer at its molecular profile. Precision Oncology is all set to revolutionize the way Cancer is diagnosed, monitored and treated.
The other stories describe the medical efficiencies of the medical physics team and the pediatric cancer com bined management team. The issue also has three patient case studies addressing various types of cancers such as Cytoreductive Surgery and HIPEC gynecologic cancer, proton therapy for breast cancer and the evolving landscape of systemic management of lung cancer.
