8thOctober,2020- Amazon Prime Video today launched the heart-warming music album of the upcoming Amazon Original Tamil FilmPuthamPudhuKaalai, an anthology of fiveshort films.Commemorating the album release, actor Suriya unveiled the music video of the title track, composed by iconic, award-winning music director G.V. Prakash. The new, soothing album includes 5 eclectic tracks for various moods, while seamlessly themed around the concept of new beginnings, love, second chances, and a glimmer of hope.
While there are 5 individual stories told in PuthamPudhuKaalai, the title track complements all the unique stories and has been seamlessly woven into the overall theme of new beginnings. While each film has its own, distinct music style, the title track brings to fore the overall message the film endeavours to deliver.
The anthology marks the union of celebrated directors from the Tamil Cinema Industry including Suhasini Mani Ratnam (Coffee, Anyone?), SudhaKongara (IlamaiIdhoIdho), Gautham Vasudev Menon (AvarumNaanum/AvalumNaanum), Rajiv Menon (Reunion) and KarthikSubbaraj (Miracle) presenting 5 short films with a distinctive storyline, characterization and narrative; however, are seamlessly woven into the common theme of New Beginnings.
