AINU Offers Advanced da Vinci Surgical Robot for Precise and Minimally Invasive Urological Surgeries; Hosts Free Cancer Screening Camp on World Kidney Day

Chennai, 9th March 2023 – AINU- Asian Institute of Nephrology and Urology, a renowned name in the field of ur ology, launched the revolutionary surgical ‘daVinciRobot’ . The launch marks as one of the single specialty hosp ital across India  offering the innovative technology.

The daVinci Robot is an advanced surgical tool that allows surgeons to perform complex minimally invasive sur geries with precision and accuracy. The system offers superior vision, enhanced dexterity, greater precision, and ergonomic comfort, making it possible for more surgeons to perform minimally invasive procedures involving co mplex and delicate dissection or reconstruction.

As part of the launch of the da Vinci Robot, AINU Chennai is committed to raising awareness of urological can cers and their prevention. To this end, AINU Chennai is conducting a free screening camp for senior citizens ab ove 60 years of age on the occasion of World Kidney Day and the launch of the robotic surgical system as well as  screening camp with focus on the detection of kidney, bladder, and prostate cancer, and aims to provide a comp rehensive understanding of urological cancers to the public.
