AGS Entertainment, one of the leading film production companies, made a foray into the theatre business by opening screens in Villivakkam, Chennai in 2010.

Following this, the AGS Group headed by Kalpathi S. Aghoram, Kalpathi S. Ganesh and Kalpathi S. Suresh has continued to expand its multiplexes in Old Mahabalipuram Road, T Nagar and Maduravoyal and is successfully operating with 18 screens in Chennai.

And now, as the next step in its mission to provide high quality and affordable cinema experiences to audiences across Tamil Nadu, AGS has commenced a new journey in Cuddalore.

AGS has teamed up with the famous Krishnalaya Theatre in Cuddalore to open AGS Krishnalaya today (February 9) in a grand manner. The theatre renovated with state-of-the-art technologies and facilities on par with metro cities was inaugurated by Aishwarya Kalpathi on behalf of AGS group.

Equipped with spectacular 4K screening, Dolby Atmos sound and other amenities, AGS Krishnalaya has been upgraded to international standard which is unprecedented in Cuddalore district so far. The first film to be screened is ‘Lal Salaam’ that has Superstar Rajinikanth in special appearance.

Following AGS Krishnalaya in Cuddalore, AGS will soon offer its theatre services in various cities of Tamil Nadu with multiple screens, the company said.
