A Malayalam film crew’s ambitious political thriller Tamil movie titled ‘Sevakar’
The film ‘Sevakar’ has been produced by a dedicated Malayalam film team, showcasing their belief in Tamil cinema, and it has been crafted as a political thriller.
‘Sevakar’ features Prajin in the titular character, supported by a talented ensemble cast that includes Shakana, Bose Venkat, Adukalam Naren, Madurai Saravanan, Udumalai Rajesh, Heema Shankari, Rupa, Sunil, Balu, Shaji Krishna, Sai Shankar, Jishnu Jith, Mano, Zameen Kumar, Sharbuddin, Chandru, Rajkumar, among others, who portray significant characters. The film is both written and directed by Santhosh gopinath.

The main character, Prajin, is an individual who courageously confronts injustice and wrongdoing occurring within the nation. He is supported by four loyal friends. In this context, Aadukalam Naren emerges as the politician responsible for perpetrating various acts of oppression. He is supported by police officers who uphold his principles and assist him in all his endeavors. A closer examination reveals a connection between politicians and government officials that underlies this injustice.
Prajin, inherently driven to confront injustices, is determined to eliminate the malevolent forces that obstruct his journey as a dedicated public servant. However, circumstances arise that lead to an altercation with the police, resulting in significant complications for him. He finds himself arrested and incarcerated, gaining insight into the perspective of those within the police force. One such officer is Bose Venkat. The film “Sevakar” unfolds the various twists and turns that follow this pivotal moment.
The film is produced by Rajan Joseph Thomas, a producer residing in the United States. Originally from Kerala, he spent some time in Chennai. His deep passion for cinema has been evident since childhood, where he found joy not only in watching films but also in admiring movie posters. He harbored aspirations of one day producing a film and seeing his name featured on a poster. To support his financial needs, he moved to America. When his friend Santhosh gopinath embarked on directing a film, Rajan Joseph Thomas seized the opportunity to assist him and stepped into the role of producer. This endeavor allowed him to realize his childhood dream, leading to the creation of the movie ‘Sevakar.’
In this film, the song “Va Va Tamizha,” sung by Prasanna, along with two other songs, will be discussed after the movie’s release.
In this film, a majority of the crew, comprising both actors and technicians, hails from Kerala, and the entire production was filmed in the Thenkasi region.
