Actor Natty’s first-ever dual role project shooting takes off with a ritual pooja ceremony!
Director Charles is helming the film “Aandavan Avatharam,” featuring actor Natti in a dual role for the first time.Having previously directed films such as “Nanjupuram,” “Azhagu Kutti Sellam,” and “Saalai,” Director Charles is now set to produce and direct “Aandavan Avatharam” under his company, Light Sound & Magic.
Recently, actor Natty (a) Natraj has been captivating audiences with his performances in various roles, consistently generating anticipation with each new film. In this project, he takes on the lead role, marking his debut in a dual character portrayal.
Actor Raghav is set to portray another significant role. While the selection of the lead actress and several other key characters is ongoing, the filming of this project commenced on October 9 in Chennai with a simple pooja ceremony. The shooting will continue in Chennai and its surrounding areas.
Throwing light on the film, Director Charles says, “I initially wished to title this film ‘Avatharam.’ However, since that title is held by Nasar, and out of respect for their esteemed creation, they were not inclined to grant us permission. Consequently, we have commenced the filming under the name ‘Aandavan Avatharam.’”
He continues to add, “The actor Natti showcases his remarkable versatility by portraying two distinct characters in this film. Rather than the conventional father-son or brother-brother dynamics, these roles have been crafted in such a way that they defy all expectations. Given that this is a science fiction film, the characters are designed to be even more unique than those played by the legendary Superstar Rajinikanth in the film Enthiran, offering a fresh and innovative take on the genre.”
Furthermore, he adds, “This film categorized as science fiction, is crafted from elements that could plausibly occur in the present rather than depicting events that are purely futuristic or implausible. Simultaneously, the narrative intertwines humor with thought-provoking themes, creating a unique storyline.”
Sharing his experience of approaching Natty, he says, “Natty sir expressed great enthusiasm upon hearing the story. Since I am producing and directing this film myself, I will be closely overseeing all related tasks, he encouraged me to take care of all the works, and would give 100% cooperation for this project. In a landscape where many leading actors seek out prominent production companies and directors, it is truly gratifying that he has agreed to act in our film, which we believe will significantly transform both the project and the production company involved to a greater magnitude.”
He tots up saying, “Raghav, who acted in my ‘Nanjupuram’, is playing an important role in this movie, and he is composing music along with Navneeth as well.”
