Very few actors in the showbiz have the potentials to break the linguistic barriers and boundaries, thereby beco ming a Pan-Indian star. The audiences have witnessed such actors, who have not just garnered acclaims and suc cess, but their love as well. What makes these actors so unique is their boy-to-next-door looks and their natura listic performances. In this aspect, actor Mahat Raghavendra becomes the latest one to join league as he emba rks on his journey in Bollywood with a project that comprises spellbinding technicians and artistes. Yeah! Mahat Raghavendra will be debuting in a Bollywood movie directed by Satram Ramani and produced by Mudassar Az iz, who has penned the story and screenplay for this film as well. The ‘Mankatha’ star will be seen playing the lead role alongside Zaheer Iqbal in this movie, which also features the critically acclaimed Sonakshi SInha and Huma Qureshi in the titular roles alongside him.
Mahat Raghavendra, who has already completed shooting 30-day schedule in London of this movie, is pretty exh ilarated of experiencing beautiful moments with the team. He says, “Firstly, I would like to thank God for conne cting with such a humble and talented person like Mudassar Aziz. The entire unit endowed me with a feel-like-home-experience. To be precise, I initially felt nervous to be working with eminent actors like Sonakshi Sinha an d Huma Qureshi, who are far-famed for their phenomenal performances in any given roles. Moreover, I expe rienced their magical spell while shooting, as they are one-take actors. Of course, both of them have shared scr een space with Superstar Rajinikanth and have established their proficient performances. In spite of being such celebrated actors, they rendered their inmost support and made me feel comfortable, thereby escalating my confidence levels while shooting.” Furthermore he adds, “I am playing one of the lead roles alongside Zaheer Iqbal, who I would address now as an own brother rather than a co-star. He was supportive throughout the schedule, we have shot till now. I am looking forward to much more elating experience working with them.”
Speaking about the point of inception on how this Bollywood offer knocked his doors, Mahat Raghavendra says, “It was before a cou ple of months, when my friend in Mumbai named Satish Fenn, an active member in the movie production, inquisitively suggested me to try my luck in the Bollywood. With his suggestions, I proc eeded and au ditioned for a couple of films. Later, I just carried out with my regular projects in Tamil industry, I was asked to send my profile to Mudassar Aziz, who was on the pursuit of some actors to play the lead role. Th at’s when an uncalled-for surprise occurred with this team sending me the full bound script and later, Mudassar Aziz, narrat ed to me the entire script on Zoom call. At this moment I thank Satish FENN & Ashish singh who got me this pro ject and the Producers Vipul shahs optimystyx Ashwin varde and rajesh Bahl wakhaoo films .
Having shot the 30-Day schedule in London, Mahat Raghavendra is now wrapping up his portions in Delhi. While his experience might have been heavenly shooting for this film, we are hit by curiosities to ask about his Hindi lin guistic fluencies. He absolutely thanks his wife Prachi for giving him basic tuitions, but then the actor went thr ough vigorous workshop sessions as well. Furthermore, the actor says, “It’s too early to reveal on what the film is all about, but it has a strong message for women.” Before signing off, the actor emotionally adds, “It’s been more like working with a dream team, and I thank God Almighty for endowing me with such an experience.”
