The two-time, award-winning stunning heritage resort has introduced specially curated packages to welcome guests back after a long hiatus, and to provide a relaxing and safe holiday experience.
Our Rakshā Initiative, a Tamara set of exclusive safety protocols following directives from the Ministry of Health ensures that guests can enjoy their holiday with the knowledge that the highest hygiene standards are in place, prioritizing their health and safety. The Tamara Kodai has achieved the distinction of receiving a Platinum level certification under the Bureau Veritas for Hygiene Management System. The assessment protocols are based on leadership, risk management, compliance management, personal hygiene, facility hygiene, monitoring measurement, and analysis.

The Tamara Kodai
The Tamara Kodai is a heritage resort located in the historical La Providence building, once a monastery, now renovated into a luxury retreat in Kodaikanal. Launched in May 2018, this property has transformed luxury tourism at this hill station. Its 53 suites of French provincial design encapsulate a colonial-era gone by taking guests on a journey back in time.
The resort houses many facilities, including a French-styled dining bistro, an all-day dining restaurant, and conference facilities including a ballroom that can accommodate over 200 guests. Wellness facilities include The Elevation Spa, a fitness center, Kodaikanal’s only temperature-controlled swimming pool, and a pool lounge.
