Performs Paediatric Liver Transplant on a 4-Month-Old Infant
Chennai, 3rd April 2025: Kauvery Hospi tal, Vadapalani, has successfully perfor med a complex paediatric liver transpla nt on a four-month-old baby, completely free of cost under the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister’s Comprehensive Health Insur ance Scheme. The infant was diagnosed with a rare ge netic disorder that led to liver failure an d severe jaundice.
