Chennai, 25th January 2025 – In anticip ation of National Cleanliness Day on Jan uary 30, 2025, Athulya Senior Care, und er its flagship initiative, #CaringForASe nior, organized a major community-driv ven beach cleaning event at Besant Nag ar Beach. The initiative, held in collabor ation with Urbaser Sumeet and the Mad ras School of Social Work, is part of Ath ulya’s promise to environmental sustain ability, senior well-being, and social resp onsibility.
With a strong focus on both environmen tal care and elder advocacy, this prelude to National Cleanliness Day brought tog ether over 200 volunteers, including At hulya’s dedicated staff, students, enviro nmentalists, and local residents, united by a common cause: cleaning up Chenna i’s iconic Besant Nagar Beach. The volun teers worked tirelessly for two hours, re moving significant amounts of waste, le aving the beach cleaner and more beaut tiful for the community to enjoy.
