Balaji Sakthivel is a panchayat president in a village in Pudukottai district. That panchayat block is declared as a reserved panchayat block.. Balaji Sakthivel, who has been dominant and caste-conscious leader, cannot tolerate this and makes Ambed Kumar (Sasikumar) the leader of the Dalit community who is working as a slave to him without any competition.
Sasikumar meets the village administration officer (Samuthirakani) and asks for a place for cremation for his people and does some things for the village.
Ex-leader Balaji Sakthivel, who gets angry because of this, strips Sasikumar naked in front of the village and beats him, humiliates him and forces him to resign from the post.
Again he is trying to make another Dalit person unopposed. Did this attempt work? What did Sasikumar decide? That is the rest of the story of the movie ‘Nandan’.
Sasikumar has changed his appearance for the story and acted well. Sruthi Periyasamy has done a great job as Sasikumar’s wife. Sasikumar who plays the son has also acted well. Balaji Sakthivel does a great job as the villain and gets applause. And starring in it

Songs in Gibran music and Pinnani music are delightful. RV Charan’s cinematography is the strength of the film.
