ANDHAGAN TAMIL MOVIE REVIEW
Plot
Prashant has been a piano artist and is also blind. One day, Priya gets a chance to befriend Anand and get close to him.
Priya Anand is trying to get Prashant a job at the bar and go to London with the income. At that time Prashant gets the introduction of actor Karthik.
Karthik invites Prashant home to surprise his wife (Simran) on her wedding day. Prashant got a shock when he came there.
Karthik is lying there dead, Samuthirakani and Simran team up to do the murder, Prashant sees this, oh he is blind you may ask, of course Prashant is pretending to be blind, the tension and excitement that follows is the rest.
It is well known that Andhagan is a remake of Bollywood’s mega hit, Andathoon. Director Thiagarajan has handled it very well.
Moreover, the story has been adapted to the Pondicherry plot without major changes.
Prashant matches that perfectly, the scenes where he pretends to be blind when he can see are so realistic, even more than that the scene where he actually loses sight of his eyes infects us with his nervousness.
Above all, the place where Karthik dies is unknown to Prashant Perpamans, Top Star.
After Prashanth, it is Simran who has been seen in the film as a heroine who only sings a duet with the heroes, and has threatened like a serial killer.
Especially the scene where he kills KS Ravikumar shows the peak of his brutal character. Kovai Sarala, Yogi Babu, KS Ravikumar have all given excellent performances.
Samuthirakani, who comes as a police officer, is initially hostile, but after learning the truth from his wife Vanitha, Bhamm makes him enjoy the place.
In the beginning 20 minutes into the story, the film slows down a bit, but after that the film picks up speed, mainly after Karthik’s murder.
Especially in the second half, there is no shortage of excitement as the gang planning to steal Prashant’s kidney and escaping from them.
Prashanth’s character is a pianist, so Santhosh Narayanan realized that music is the greatest strength of the film.
All in all, it’s about…
