In the year 2040, an alien woman takes refuge with three humans in Kerala, where nature has been devastated. The film narrates the mishaps that ensue with lively comedy, an innovative screenplay, and an innovative setting.

IN the year 2040, Kerala which is called as ‘God’s Land’ will be seen as a God forsaken country. Due to the rains and floods during that period, a large amount of land in the state was destroyed and went underground. The then regime is also a repressive regime never seen before. The government is practicing dictatorship. It keeps people down. Only electric vehicles should be used. Apart from that, the government agencies are monitoring the people wherever they turn. Every home is equipped with government surveillance equipment and the police is also monitoring it.

At such a moment, KP Ganesh Kumar, an ex-army man who hunted aliens for the motherland, uses artificial intelligence technology to save himself from the aliens and hides in a safe building with various security equipments along with his assistants Gokul Suresh and Aju Varghese.A TV channel crew meets Ganesh Kumar to make a documentary about him. His assistants narrate the incidents and battles he has encountered to the crew present. They narrate.. narrate.. those scenes unfold for us on the screen.

In such a situation, a female alien also joins these three people. Gokul Suresh starts falling in love with the female alien. This romance starts to turn into a comedy.  The advantages and disadvantages of continuous use of artificial intelligence.. More frequent rains due to climate change, floods due to it, petrol shortage due to human error, confusion and problems in the country due to this. The film talks about things.

In the end, what happened to the love between Gokul Suresh and the alien girl? What is the truth behind the alien attack on Earth?  Ganesh Kumar has shown his long, drawn-out years of acting experience. Gokul Sureshu has been cast modestly as this is his first film and there is no script for a hero. Aju Varghese keeps the laughs alive with her natural acting and timing sense dialogue delivery.

Anarkali Maraikayer, who is playing the role of an alien girl, has shown many human emotions with just a look without speaking a word. However, even though the three main characters of the film are always talking and moving the story along, even though it is boring, the stand up dialogues that appear in the dialogues from time to time make us laugh.

Cinematography is very important for science fiction nativity movies like this one. Cinematographer Surjit Espy has shot all the objects with the eyes of his camera. The way the documentary is made and presented to us on screen is commendable.

Art director Mbawa’s hand-colored building, which is prominently displayed towards the end of the story, its background scenes, the colors given to the scenes and a scientific significance to all the objects shown on the screen, have drawn our attention.  Music director Shankar Sharma’s score is unique in its background score. The producer of the film, CJ Achu tried to carry the story without boring it as much as possible, but it is true that we got tired due to the continuous talks.

The graphics of such science fiction films also leave us in awe. Kudos to artist Meraki for crafting the VFX sequences with great effort and low cost.  Director Arun Sandhu and Siva Sai, who have written the story and screenplay, have tried to make the fans laugh by giving a very interesting science fiction story. But they have won only half of it. Scenes where the director’s voice is made to sound like an old lady’s voice are heard to stage-shattering laughter.

The biggest minus point of the film is the natural disasters that are going to happen on earth due to the change of climate in the future.. and the deterioration that is going to happen in the country due to the reverse change in the lifestyle of the people due to the development of science and technology.

The story has also become an international story as the film also talks about the current scientific developments around the world like extraterrestrials and artificial intelligence.

But while saying this, without thinking about the language issue, the biggest enemy of the film is that everything is done in Malayalam itself. The film is set in a sad and sad state, as if it were lost in the jungle for those who do not know the Malayalam language. With the running sub-titles coming and going at lightning speed according to the actors’ rapid dialogues, the understanding of the film has become beyond the reach of those who know Malayalam.

If this is fixed then other linguists in India will have little fear about the future of India..!
