SABARI TAMIL MOVIE REVIEW
After divorcing her husband, Varalakshmi Sarathkumar, who comes to Hyderabad with her daughter from Mumbai to find work, lives as her daughter Ulam. At the same time, her ex-husband Ganesh Venkatraman tries to separate the child from her. Meanwhile, Maim Gopi, the murderer, claims Varalakshmi’s daughter as his own and kidnaps the girl and asks Varalakshmi for one crore rupees.
Mime Gopi, who is celebrating her own child, why is she abducting the same child and asking for money? What is the action taken by Varalakshmi Sarathkumar, who is struggling to recover her daughter? Did he succeed in that? Isn’t it? That is the story of ‘Sabari’.
Varalakshmi Sarathkumar, who plays a character that reflects how this society sees women living without a male partner, has acted in a way that gives women courage and self-confidence. Varalakshmi, who struggles to save her child from the danger of stalking her, does justice to the character with both acting and action.
The character of Mike Coby, who makes an attention-grabbing debut early on, is on a promising journey. Although his actions as an escapee from a mental hospital are menacing, his character becomeswell.ella by the end of the film.
Ganesh Venkataraman, who plays Varalakshmi’s husband, and Shasang, who plays the role of a lawyer, have done their job well.
Baby Niveksha, who plays Varalakshmi’s daughter, does not fail in her performance.
Cinematographers Rahul Srivatsav and Nani Samidishetti’s camera moves along the narrative.
Gobi Sundar’s music has songs and background score.
Director Anil Katz, who has told the love struggle of the heroine who lives as if her daughter is the world, in the suspense thriller genre, even though he has taken the audience into the story in the opening scene, after that he imposes some unnecessary things in the moving screenplay and makes the film limp.
The biggest weakness of the film is that the director who creates expectations for the audience with the character of Surya weakens that character at the end of the film and highlights another character. However, the gentle and action-packed portrayal of a mother’s struggle to save her child from danger gives some comfort to fans.
