Movie Review-;
Ashok Selvan, a school-going hero, falls head over heels in love with fellow student Karthika Muralitharan. But the romance fails as she finishes school without telling him about it. He falls in love with Riya while studying in co llege. Although the romance with Riya is initially amicable, it also fails after that. Ashok Selvan’s romance wit h Megha Akash finally succeeds, or fails as usual? The story of the movie ‘Sabha Nayagan’ is a joke. Three differe nt love stories in which Ashok Selvan, who is very handsome, excels in acting as well as dancing and comedy. He ent ertains his fans by telling his love failure stories as comedy rather than tragedy, and he has shown his innov ative acting by acting in different ways in each love story.
Karthika Muralitharan, Chandini and Megha Akash are the three heroines, all three are stunning in their beauty and acting. But among the three, Karthika Muralitharan has been given the most importance. He deserves it and does his job well and takes the top spot. Megha Akash’s presence adds strength to the film even though it only co mes in the last 20 minutes of the film. Chandini has contributed some romantic scenes and a song.Arun, Jayasee lan, Sriram and Aneesh, who play Ashok Selvan’s friends, are acting in the same style as in the YouTube video, so all their scenes are reminiscent of the YouTube video. Ashok Selvan’s sister, Penna, Michal Thangadurai, Mayilsa my and other characters are also acting.
The cinematography by cinematographers Balasubramaniam, Dinesh Purushothaman and Prabhu Raghav has contrasted the three periods and shot the scenes colorfully.Even though the songs in Leon James’s music are of the already heard type, they are repetitive and catchy. The background music goes along with the story.CS Karth ikeyan, who has written and directed, has given the film according to the pulse of the fans. Jolly telling the message of taking love failure for granted and moving on to the next level, he has set the scenes and screenplay in a way that the youth can celebrate.The film begins with Ashok Selvan getting caught by the police drunk and narrating his love stories to them, and while he narrates each of his love stories, the film sags a bit due to its length in the second half.
However, with an unexpected twist at the end, the way it is told is not a story of love failure but a success story of how a failed first love gets back together. Saba Nayagan”, weaves a story around Arvind, fondly called Saba, w ho, while drunk, narrates his love’s escape from the police. The story explores his school and college years, failed relationships and unrequited love. The film tries to capture the essence of the protagonist’s evolution from a ro mantic, heartbroken and carefree youth to a determined adult. A lighthearted journey, the film promises come dy, emotion and reflection on universal experiences. The plot of the film revolves around Aravind’s search for lo ve, chronicling his encounters with different women at different stages of his life.
From schoolboy infatuation to the complexities of adult relationships, Aravind navigates the turbulent landscap e of love and heartbreak. However, a central conflict that could propel the plot’s momentum appears elusive, lea ving the audience to question the depth of Aravind’s emotional journey. The film catches the viewer’s ability to e mpathize with the protagonist’s development and illuminate heartbreak. Ashok Selvan takes on the challenge o f portraying the multi-faceted character of Aravind, transitioning from wide-eyed youth to confident adulthood. Despite concerns about his schoolboy look, Selvan’s performance captures the subtleties of Aravind’s emotional evolution and shines through. The three heroines Karthika Muralitharan, Chandini Choudhary and Megha Akash effortlessly step into their roles, portraying the essence of love at different stages of life.
The supporting cast adds flavor to the story, each character contributing to the protagonist’s journey.The techn ical aspects of the film, such as cinematography, music, etc., play an important role in shaping the audience’s cine matic experience. Balasubramaniam, Dinesh Purushothaman and Prabhu Raghav’s cinematography captures the locales of Erode and Coimbatore, offering a refreshing departure from the usual Chennai-centric settings. Leon J ames’ score complements the story, heightening the emotional pulse. However, the film’s length becomes a signif icant drawback, especially in scenes related to the protagonist’s school days, with pacing issues that could have been resolved with precise editing.All in all, the youth will surely celebrate this ‘Sabha Nayagan’.
