Story-;
Manobala and Thambi Ramaiah belong to rival companies that shoot commercials. Actress Tanya Hope (Shivani) works for Manobala. Actor Santhanam (Sandosh) works for Thambi Ramaiah. Santhanam, who aims to secure co ntracts for his company without any policy or ethics, falls in love the moment he sees Tanya Hope, the talented a nd honest heroine of their rival company. But Tanya Hope hates Santhanam without seeing him for working as a fake and snatching their orders and complains against Santhanam in the Advertising Film Council. Santhanam, who escapes every time without getting involved in these complaints, makes Tanya fall in love with him by using another name. Santhanam, who starts falling in love with Tanya for real, at one point when he tries to tell the truth, he is disheartened to know that Tanya is cheating on him. The rest of the story is what happens next and what happens to their love amidst professional competition.

Manobala and Thambi Ramaiah belong to advertising companies. Actress Tanya Hope (Shivani) works with Man obala. Actor Santhanam (Shanthosh) works for Thambi Ramaiah. Aiming to win contracts for his company with o ut any policy or ethics, Santhanam falls in love at first sight with Tanya Hope, the talented and honest heroine of their ad agency. But Tanya Hope is disgusted to see that Santhanam has faked her work and snatched their order and files a complaint against Santhanam with the Advertising Film Council. Santhanam, who escapes these comp laints every time, makes Tanya fall in love with him by changing her name.
Santhanam, who begins to really fall in love with Tanya, at one point tries to tell the truth, but is heartbroken to learn that Tanya is cheating on him. The rest of the story is what happened to their love amidst the professional rivalry and what happens next.Kannada hit Zoom has been remade as Kick in Tamil. If Santhanam, who recorded a phenomenal success last month with DD Returns, goes to the film, the situation is dire! ‘Hero’ Santhanam, as us ual, has done his job without fail with his trademark timing comedy, body language sahitham. Tanya Hope, who fi rst makes a careful entry as a clear heroine, in the course of the story turns into a putrid heroine and makes us su ffer.
Based on a comedy plot, the film has an innumerable cast of comedy stars like Thambi Ramaiah, Manobala, Ko w ai Sarala, Mansoor Ali Khan, ‘Hero’ Santhanam as usual has done his job flawlessly with his trademark body lang uage and timing comedy. Tanya Hope, who initially makes a careful entry as a clear heroine, turns into a mucky h eroine in the course of the story and makes us suffer. Based on a comedy plot, the film featured countless come dians like Thambi Ramaiah, Manobala, Kowai Sarala, Mansoor Ali Khan, Brahmanandam, Senthil, Vayapuri. But h alf of it is offensive in the name of comedy.
Half the time Thambi Ramaiah is used to annoy by sprinkling lewd jokes in the name of comedy. Santhanam, who is a hero who lies, cheats and fakes throughout the film, it is ironic that he speaks a serious line saying, “How man y lies do we tell to promote advertisement, just like that, how many lies did I tell to promote love?” The music by Arjun Janya is a great comfort to the film. Santhanam has already escaped from the criticism that “Don’t comp a re this film with DD Returns, Kick will be different, instead of Santhanam’s film, it should be called director Prash antraj’s film”. Brahmanandam, Senthil, Vayapuri.
But half of them are disgusted by the name of comedy. Thambi Ramaiah is used half the time to annoy and sprin k le obscene jokes in the name of comedy. Comedy or not… Kowai Sarala gives us solace by making us laugh eve ry now and then by giving her many entries as an old vlogger, Reels Addict. Senthil doesn’t have a telling charact er but thankfully not as repulsive as Thambi Ramaiah. Manobala makes himself miss by appearing on screen her e and there. The comedy plot is based on lies and the story is set as a hero who spends time and all the logic viola tions using the same as an excuse!
Moreover, the screenplay travels to India, Bangkok on its own. They also keep sprinkling cheeky comedies throu ghout the film. Santhanam, who is a hero who lies, cheats and forgeries throughout the film, speaks a serious line saying, “How many lies we tell to promote advertisement, I lied to promote our love” is ironic. Music director Arj un Janya’s music is the major consolation of the film. “Don’t compare this film with DD Returns, Kick will be diffe rent, it should be called director Prashantraj’s film instead of Santhanam’s film” Santhanam has already escaped from criticism!
