Story-;
LGM is a film produced by cricketer Dhoni. When it came to know, there was great expectation. LGM The idea of the film is to attract fans from all walks of life. But there is no strength in writing. Director Ramesh Tamilmani int roduces Gautham (Harish Kalyan) and Meera (Ivana) who have been in love for two years. They decide to get ma rried to make everything go well. Meera does not like living in the same house with Gautham’s mother (Nadia) af ter marriage. Meera gives Gautham an idea to bring mom and family on a trip to understand. Gautham says ok an d takes everyone on a trip. But everything changes when Gautham’s mother comes to know the motive behind this trip. After that the story is about how Meera and Gautham’s mother understand each other.
The idea of a woman who wants to understand her future mother-in-law is the foundation of a good script. But they have tried to turn that idea into a two-and-a-half-hour screenplay to bring in the laughs that never came. Nothing like that seems to happen in the journey to understand each other. The main characters fight with the tiger is the comedy. We also couldn’t enjoy seeing the places they go in the travel-oriented film. Harish Kalyan, Ivana, Nadia have acted well. Director Ramesh Tamilmani has also worked as a music director. It didn’t help the film. Yogi Babu is smiling as usual. As the story is not interesting, the dialogue in the film also applies in reality.

Movie Review-;
Mother-in-law and daughter-in-law fights are world famous. What should be done to prevent that from happeni ng? LGM is the result of thinking that. This is said in an upper middle class background. The hero Harish Kalyan, who works in the software industry, is in love with the heroine Ivana. He likes her too. Meanwhile, Ivana dislikes Harish Kalyan’s mother. Harish Kalyan, who grew up in his mother’s embrace without his father, is it his mother? girlfriend? When the situation comes, the mother stands by. A compromise agreement is then reached and the th ree embark on a long journey. It is expected that mother and girlfriend will understand each other.
Did it come true? This is what the film says. Harish Kalyan is not new to this type of role. So he naturally fits in an d has acted to the required extent. Ivana’s simple beauty is strength. He said I had an idea and it was interest ing. Inconsistencies in character. Nadia has played the hero’s mother. Although he sags a bit in the first half, he makes up for it in the second half. Yogibab and RJ.Vijay are there to make you laugh. There is no shortage of it. Cinemat ographer Viswajith has managed to keep the film classy and classy. The director himself has also worked as a mu sic composer. Songs can be heard and background music is not lacking.
Even if the couple is in love with each other, there are more problems due to family relations. Especially the mot her-in-law has taken this film as an attempt to find a permanent solution to the daughter-in-law problem. Let’s look at this concept beyond a few drawbacks. M.S. Dhoni’s debut film LGM hits the screens today and the film is being touted as a freewheeling family entertainer for all audiences. Dhoni starts his film career with a six? By e! LGM (Let’s Get Married) begins as a story of a man hanging between his girlfriend and his wife, en route to ma rriage.
As her girlfriend suggests the idea of going on a family trip before the wedding to get to know each other, the id ea develops and what happens between the girl and the mother-in-law becomes the focus of the story. LGM st arts out fun and frolic as there are some good jokes in the first half that will keep the audience laughing. With th ree episodes, the Cowan bar episode, the encounter with the cult and finally the tiger scene, the film really gets bogged down in the second half, none of these three working as expected. The film falls on the nose here. LGM al so suffers from pacing issues due to the lack of good songs.
Harish Kalyan has a stylish presence but the film doesn’t capitalize on it and he has nothing to do here. Ivana doe sn’t fit the role of elite woman and looks too young on screen. Nadia is the saving grace among the cast, and she d oes a great job. The supporting cast contributes well, but none of them have the weight to hold the film toget he r.
LGM has decent tech but the film could have done better by choosing the right music composer who gives grea t songs. Music has a lot of importance in such a film and LGG admittedly falters there. All in all, LGM is a movie th at could have been better in many ways and needs better writing and making to entertain the audience for its 2 hours and 30 minutes running time. Verdict: Dhoni’s debut home production is a laugh-out-loud ride, could have done better!
