Recently Vijay Antony starrer Pichaikaran 2 released. The film was a h uge success. After this, Vijay Antony’s upcoming movie Kolada is being made. This film is directed by Balaji K Kumar. The film is jointly produced by Infiniti Film Ventures and Lotus Pictures. The director has made this movie in thr iller style. Suddenly one day he mysteriously dies at home. The case comes to Ritika Singh who is a police officer. The super iors warn Ritika Singh that the case must be completed within a week. Famous model Meenakshi Chaudhary is found mysteriously inside a locked house. Vijay Antony as the investigat ing officer investigating the murder of Meenakshi Choudhary and police officer Ritika Singh as his assistant went into the locked house of Meenakshi Choudhary and killed him? Finding out is the rest of the story.Vijay Antony h as lived the character rather than playing an investigating officer. Rithika Singh has played a wonderful role as a police officer. Although Radhika Sarathkumar appears in a few scenes, her character is special. Murali Janvijay Sharma, Siddhartha Shankar and Kishore have acted well. Others have also performed well.Girish Gopalakrish nan has composed the music for the film.
Pinnani has given songs and music to enjoy.Sivakumar Vijayan’s cinematography has shot the film beautifully to Hollywood standards.Director Balajikumar has given this story in the genre of suspense thriller interestingly in Hollywood movie quality for everyone to enjoy. Famous model beauty Meenakshi Chelatri is found murdered in her locked house. Trainee IPS officer Ritika Singh investigates the murder case. But with no progress in the case, detective Vijay Antony takes the Meenakshi murder case in hand. How does Ritika Singh and Vijay Antony’s inv estigation navigate through many guesses and finally find the killer? ‘Murder’ is a different way of saying that.
Although the story is told in I liner, who is the murdered model Laila? The way the scenes are designed to be nar rated by the murdered person is unique and interesting and the entire film is stylish.Vijay Antony, who plays the character of Vinayak as a detective, has shown a difference not only in the getup but also in the acting in the salt and pepper hair style. His every move with very calm action, sharp gaze holds our attention and he has added gr eat strength to the screenplay with his stylish acting.Ritika Singh, who plays the vibrant young police officer, ch arms the audience with her measured performance even though she doesn’t fly and fight like Vijayashanthi.
Newcomer Meenakshi Chheutri, who plays the role of a model named Laila, has all the features of an internation al model and is stunning in her performance as a model.Siddharth Shankar, Murali Sharma, Arjun Chidambaram, John Vijay, Radhika who play the role of Meenakshi’s lover, all the actors are suitable for the role and acting out side of their normal style adds strength to the screenplay.Cinematographer Sivakumar Vijayan has presented t he entire film stylishly. The person who has shot the scenes so that it is impossible to find out what is graphic and what is real, uses different colors and angles in the film and makes the audience travel with Laila.All songs com p osed by Krish Gopalakrishnan have already become hits.
Watch with visuals and it makes you watch and listen again and again. The background score is a fresh take on t he usual crime suspense genre films.Although I have a one liner script and new venture making, the film editor S elva RK has packaged it very nicely to make it understandable to the audience. Especially the performance of th e actors and the method of investigation seems to slow down the pace of the screenplay, but he has added stren gth to the film by editing the scenes in such a way that the fans do not feel that feeling.Director Balaji Kumar, wh o attracted the attention of Kollywood with the film ‘Vidiyum Mun’, has directed the film to give a new experien ce to the fans with a different making.
Although it is a typical crime suspense thriller genre story, the way it is told, director Balaji Kumar has crafted th e screenplay and visuals to give the audience a fresh experience.Who was the murdered Laila? The way he narra tes it and shows the world of modeling through his character, the family background of Vijay Antony, the acting of the actors, the way the scenes move in a way that belies the audience’s guess as to who will be the killer add m ore strength to the film.All in all, this ‘Murder’ will definitely give a new experience to the movie fans, which will completely satisfy the crime thriller movie lovers.
