The film ‘Baba Black Sheep’ talks about suicides of students, stress problems, strict upbringing of parents and ch ildren drowning in the internet, which are increasing in today’s society. Suresh Chakraborty is running a boys’ sc hool and two pre-schools in the same compound. The school is consolidated after his death. However, there is a conflict of power between the 5 students from the 11th grade boys’ school and the 5 students from the two p re-school schools. Both groups join together in a fight. Then they found a letter written by a student without ment ioning his name saying that he was going to commit suicide. Who wrote that letter? .. Was this suicide attempt pr evented? What is the solution to such problems? Raj Mohan, the director of ‘Baba Black Sheep’, has spoken ab out it in his own style.

There is a RR private school in Salem, Suresh Chakraborty is running the school which is divided into two, a scho ol for boys only and a school for both genders. Unexpectedly he died due to financial problems and the children o f Suresh Chakraborty joined the two schools together. After merging the two schools, there is a fight among the 11th class students as to who will sit on the last bench. To deal with this, the school principal decides to keep the students busy and conduct Election, Examination and Exhibition for the students. Then there is a competition b etween the Ayas team and the NP team. Which team will win in this competition?
The fact that they won and took the last bench, did they come together in the end to compete and score? Isn’t it? That is the rest of the story of the film… Fans will easily connect with the film as many familiar faces will appear throughout the film. Raj Mohan gets good marks by giving everyone a part in the story. Abhirami’s comeback bac kground was shown based on the death of the Kallakurichi student but did not make much of an impact. Rajmoh an has written the screenplay as his debut film. The first half is full of 2k kids talking about atrocity, school life, sc hooling, and classroom shenanigans.
Although the second half of the story travels on a different track, the film touches on the point of view. But it giv es the impression that it could have been said more forcefully. If you watch the film after removing some flaws, ‘Baba Black Sheep’ will attract the fans..! Suresh Chakraborty runs a separate boys’ school and bisexual school in Salem district by putting a wall across it. After the death of Suresh Chakraborty the school is consolidated. 5 me mbers from boys high school and 5 members from both pre-school schools make up two teams. The two teams of ten clashed. Ayaz is the leader of a team.
Another team was led by N.P. He is accompanied by Nila (Ammu Abhirami).After school integration, there is a sit uation where both team members study in the same class. There is a fight over who has the last bench, and there is a row in the class over who got the last mark in the exam. To correct these problems, the school management conducts science fairs and elections. One team wins the election and captures the last bench. In the science exhi bition, two teammates got into a fight and all the exhibits were damaged. The angry administration calls the pare nts and warns them.
When there is a situation where a team leader is given a DC and sent out, both the team members come togethe r.Then Ammu Abirami receives an anonymous letter saying that she is going to commit suicide on December 12 th. Confused about who wrote the letter, they try to find out the signature. Who wrote that letter? Was that suic ide prevented on December 12 by student soldiers? The rest of the story is…Rajmohan has taken this story based on the death of a Kallakurichi student. Awareness that school students should not have suicidal thoughts is OK. Schooling, classroom furniture is enjoyable.
The songs are not very entertaining….the comedy has been slapped on the dough….it would have been better if t he story had been told more strongly.All in all this ‘Baba Black Sheep’ class can be visited once. Suresh Chakrab o rty has two schools namely Boys School and Co-Ed School. These two schools in the same compound have quite a few mischievous students.After the death of Suresh Chakraborty, his sons merged the two schools into one sc hool. Thus, students studying in boys school and students studying in co-ed school join in one school…Due to th is, fights and quarrels arise between the students of both the schools who caught the joke.
There is a frequent fight between the students of the two schools for the last bench seat.At one point the two co me together, at that time, a suicide note is caught in the school premises. Who wrote the letter? Why wrote..? Th e rest of the story of the film is how they find out.Nairs Narendra Prasad and Abdul Ayaz both appear in the film in appropriate roles. They kept increasing their performance from scene to scene like an experienced acto r.Am mu Abhirami has drawn the fans with her eyes. The acting dose could have been reduced a bit.RJ Vignesh’s vis uals were artificial and the film’s biggest downfall.
His character did not stick with the film and did not bring laughter anywhere, so it was a major obstacle to the flo w of the film.The first half of the story is going smoothly and the second half is more than halfway through the st ory. More than half the focus of the second half could have been carried over into the first half.But what do pare nts expect from students and students from parents? How to deal with them? The director can be greatly apprec iated for saying that.The songs and background music have helped the film immensely.The cinematography is als o nothing to complain about.What was said could have been said more emphatically and forcefully.Baba Blac ks heep – Could have watched a little more…
