Movie Review-;

The ring in the dead old woman’s ear disappears. The story of this film is what happens after that.  In the very fi rst scene, Subramani (Pasupathi), a retired police constable, is introduced. Subramani has been shown as a pers on who does anything different and incurs the wrath of higher authorities.A different complaint comes from Kit aripatti in Theni district. Subramani has to investigate the case. Kitaripatti is a village inhabited by people who see the police as an enemy.An old lady Thangaponn (Rohini) belonging to that village had 4 daughters and a son. The old lady suddenly disappears one day.

Subramani discovers that Thangaponnu has left the village unable to bear the burden of the greedy daughters an d drunken son.After Subramani searches for the old lady, she dies due to health problems. The eyes of the relativ es go to the dandati in his ear without worrying about whether Thangaponnu is dead. In this case, the ring in the dead old woman’s ear disappears. Will Subramani solve all these problems and make sure that the funeral of Tha nga Ponnu will take place peacefully?Newcomer director Ram Sangaiah takes some time to take us into the wor ld he has created. We travel along with some of the characters as we begin to understand his world.

Their comedy is innovative.The second half is all about finding Dandati. As the director has already told the story behind that shot, we are also excited. Although the situation is serious, the comedy in the second half lends itself somewhat.The climax scene was not satisfactory. The directorial twist was unnecessary. Vivek Prasanna has do ne a great job as a drunkard. Poovita, Deepa Shankar, Janaki and Semmalar Annam who played Thangaponnu’s daughters have acted wonderfully.Pasupathi has acted well as a constable. He carries the film on his shoulders. The background music did not help in the first half.

Rohini as a 57-year-old golden girl. Chevvane has proved himself as a senior by giving an impeccable performan ce. Ammu Abhirami as young Rohini. He conveys emotions easily through pained eyes. Actor Pashupati plays the role of Head Constable Subramani, who comes to find the missing Golden Girl and takes care of everything till th e moment the Golden Girl’s body is cremated due to unavoidable reasons. Charpata chose a strong character aft er Paramparai and carries the entire film on his shoulders.Sticking his guitar to the townspeople, he enlivens the crowd in his jaw-dropping scenes. Vivek Prasanna as Golden Girl’s drunken son.

The exclusive drunkard’s body language captivates. Even though some of his repetitive lines are boring, he mak es you forget it with his effortless performance. Boy Mukesh as Golden Girl’s grandson is eye-catching in some places. Deepa Shankar, Shemmalar Annam and others are familiar with the same old character. The one who dr ew attention to acting beyond them was the “Kolaru Bhatti”. The scene where he puts the head constable’s cap on Pashupati’s head while shaking the theaters will vibrate.

The great skill of the director is evident in the way the village traditions and rituals are displayed and in the way the film is carried on for more than an hour while keeping the grandmothers who do not know what acting is. It is a salute to his tireless work that even the supporting characters have captured the body language with nativity as a print original. Another big plus for the film is cinematographer Mahesh Muthuchami’s exquisite cinematog raphy. Every scene sparkles like an eye-catching gold bar.However, many scenes in the film are sloppy. Film edit or Sivanandeeswaran could have dared to cut more places.

When the people of Kitaripatti say, they give a build-up to the extent that even a local police station trembles. Th ey warn Head Constable Pasupathi not to lay hands on anyone there. But apart from Vivek Prasanna’s chara cter drunkenly carrying around a sickle and scaring him twice, it’s disappointing that the villagers do nothing against the police. It is not an acceptable logic that the family relations, who till then fight for the mother’s dandatti, will leave the dandatti as it is when a new fifteen lakh comes.

The incomplete characters of the townspeople and the characters of the children who fight in the street for prop erty make us unable to fully join the story. The rest of the immature comedies don’t create the feelings that the r omantic scenes, which come in under ten minutes in total, create in us. Due to the lack of balance in the emotion al flow of the film, the film as a whole slips away from where it should have touched. Dandatti movie is amazing with tasteful scenes here and there, amazing acting and making.
