Story-;
The hero Linga and the heroine Jambika fall in love with each other. Linga wishes to get married and live. As her friend’s married life ends in failure, Jambika, confused thinking that the love of men in love is fake and changes after marriage, decides to break off her relationship with Linga. When Linga goes to Jambika’s house to ask the reason for this sudden decision, Jambika’s father Ilango Kumaravel comes to know about the matter. Immedia tely, Ilango Kumaravel gives an idea to the lovers to solve this problem. That is, without getting married, both of them should live as husband and wife, living together for 7 days. In these 7 days, if Linga’s love is true, then they can marry her, if not, they can break the relationship. Accordingly, Jambika agrees to live together with Linga for 7 days, with certain conditions, and leaves Linga after 7 days? Or married him? That is the story of ‘Pani Puri’ ser ies.

Contemporary Love: Paani Puri is a web series that focuses on the changes and problems in male-female relatio nships in today’s corporate world. The series will release tomorrow on shortflix OD platform. Hello AM Balaji Ve nugopal is the director of famous journalist. Pani Puri is named after hero Linga’s name in Thandayutha style and Puri from Poornima’s name as heroine Sambika. Puri (Shampika) is a Scientist in the field of Robotics in a softwa re company in Chennai. Pani (Linga) and Puri in Coimbatore are lovers. When deciding to get married, love is diff erent than marriage. Before marriage, both of them decide to stay in a service apartment for seven days to unde rstand each other. They face various problems in that apartment. After the marriage, the two separate over the issue of who will take care of Puri’s father. The result is unexpected. Bani Puri reflects the sentiments of today’s youth who are the only son or daughter of a salaried household.
Balaji, without any kind of vehemence, tackles the story of a thread that escapes and becomes an obscenity. Ku dos to the director for saying that you can be polite even in the same house. This series talks about the growing single parent culture in the last twenty years. As an extension of the corporate culture, the director explains the reasons for the increasing number of divorces among middle-class families. Linga and Sambika are presented as a natural contemporary lovers. Ego, love and anger are mixed and they have given a good performance. Elangov an Kumaravel is proving again and again that he is a great actor. He is living as a divorced father of a young daugh ter. Vinod and Kanika have given perfect performances. Navneet’s music conveys the emotions perfectly. The Ba ani Puri series has shown the changing family values like a time mirror. This pani puri has an important place in t he history of Tamil web series.
Director Balaji Venugopal through this series has changed the perception that living to gether lifestyle is anti-so cial and web series focused on such lifestyle should be adult only, and with family permission a living to gether li festyle focused web series can be decent and watchable with family. He has proved. Director Balaji Venugopal, w ho has handled everything like love scenes and love dialogues very stylishly, has emphatically recorded that be a uty is not based on appearance but on the soul. Linga, who has already attracted attention with her perfo rmanc es in several films and web series, is stunning in her role as Velanthi in a love-centric series. He plays a jovial you ng man who doesn’t care about anything while in love, and gets a splash by acting brilliantly in a scene where he thinks about a small matter that his girlfriend expects with the mindset of a typical man. Playing the role of a sc ientist who creates robots, heroine Jambika’s performance is like a robot.
Moreover, acting almost the same in all the scenes and giving the same expression diminishes the strength of his character. Throughout the series, actress Jambika, who focuses on make-up and hair-styling, could have paid mo re attention to acting. Ilango Kumaravel, who also plays the role of Jambika’s father, is not only a jovial father bu t also a father who understands his daughter perfectly. His performance has added a lot of strength to his charac ter. Vinod Sagar, who plays the hero’s friend, makes us laugh in the initial scenes, but his compelling performance in the later scenes leaves us with a great character actor. Srikrishna Dayal, who plays the hero’s brother, and Kan ika, who plays the sister-in-law, have done their job flawlessly. All the scenes of Gopal and his colleagues playing apartment dwellers are laughable. Cinematographer Praveen Balu has shot the entire story inside the buildings.
Despite not shooting scenes from multiple angles, he has succeeded in bringing the emotions of the characters t o the audience. Music composer Navneet Sundar’s background music has traveled along with the story. His unu sual work of composing music as a different endeavor adds strength to the series. Cinematographer PK doesn’t h ave much work to do. Since the film is full of dialogue scenes, he has cut more speeches than scenes. Even so, it’s a bit overwhelming. Written and directed by Balaji Venugopal, the Living to Gether lifestyle is not an individual lifestyle of the youth, but a life related to the parents as well. Balaji Venugopal, who has shot 8 episodes with the characters talking, has thought more as a writer than as a director. A web series to watch at some point? Or the series that is being broadcast on the radio? Doubt arises. Although the script and visual settings are old-fashione d and serial-like, the series is a bit weak, but the plot and the way it is told by director Balaji Venugopal hides the weakness and is a good advice for lovers and couples, not just for lovers. All in all, this ‘Pani Puri’ can be enjoyed by all parties.
