Movie Review-;

Radhamohan, who is known for making feelgood films, has done a different film with SJ Suriya. Raj Kumar (SJ Surya) works as a painter in a toy factory. He has taken a house alone in Chennai and is staying. One who does not have any bad habits.A doll that arrives at the factory reminds Raju of his school sweetheart Nandini (Priya Bhavanishankar). After that, he falls in love with the doll in his imagination and lives the life he wanted. He thin ks the doll is real.Raju tells the factory supervisor not to sell only that toy.

In this case, when he went to town, the doll that looked like Nandini was sold to a showroom in Chennai.Returni ng from town, Raju finds the doll that looks like Nandini missing and becomes furious and becomes a murderer. A fter that, Nandini finds the shop where the doll is and works there. He begins to live the life he imagined happily with that doll.The story revolves around Raju’s happiness and whether he will be caught by the police in a murde r case. At first there is an excitement that this is different from the romance between a man and a doll.

But as the film progresses, that excitement fades. Radhamohan has focused only on the love between the hero and the doll.In the second half of the film, Raju wants to spend time with the doll and joins the showroom where it is sold. There is nothing wrong with showing the love between a boy and a doll. But when only that is shown an d all the duets are sung, the people in the theater run out of patience.  We can easily predict what the characters in the film are talking about. And can predict what will happen next. Not strong in screenplay.

Don’t see all the logic in the toy film.Radhamohan has done what no one expected in the climax.SJ has lived and not pretended to have mental health issues. Surya. He gets applause at the climax scene. Along with Priya, she ca rries the film on her shoulders. Priya Bhavanishankar is attractive as a beautiful doll. Another heroine, Chandini, does not have much to do. Yuvan Shankar Raja’s music cannot be faulted.The main character of the film is the do ll. Priya Bhavani Shankar shines like a doll. SJ Suriya’s unique performance carries the film.

Especially in the police station interrogation scenes, the performance draws applause. Chandni, who plays anot her heroine, does not have a lot of scenes but she has done her character well. A story without logic if you thi nk about it. The anticipation of how it is being filmed was already there when the trailer was released. But the slow and largely lackluster screenplay bores the audience.

Whereas SJ Suriya – Priya Bhavani Shankar related fantasy scenes are entertaining. Unknowingly makes us sm ile. The second half is better than the first half. The climax scene takes an unexpected twist.The humming of the song ‘Theivika Ragam’ with music by Yuvan Shankar Raja in the background is delightful. So all in all, those who enjoy watching ‘toy’ at any age will enjoy this ‘toy’ too…!
