Movie Review -;

Shaara invents a smartphone with a woman’s feelings in artificial intelligence technology to alleviate the anxiety of single youth. When he plans to sell it in Bhagwati Perumal market for several crores, it unexpectedly falls into the hands of Shiva. With that cell phone, Siva’s economic value rises as he becomes an ordinary food delivery bo y. The woman on the smart phone asks for Siva’s love in return for Siva to fulfill his desire through that cell phon e. Debutant director Vignesh Shah has comedicly told the dangers of that smartphone to Siva, who refuses to do so.

In the movie which is very interesting and moves completely based on comedy without any twists, scenes like P remam film reference, Mano’s role as a priest, Kedar Jadav playing IPL, delivering food in a car and talking punch dialogue to Ayan Man are enjoyable. The film’s one-liners crackle at some points, crossing over logic violations t hat are festering because of the pre-warning ‘don’t look at logic’.The ‘All India Superstar’ Siva’s natural timing co medies and body language help the entire film to be enjoyed. In between his English verses are the ultimate typ e!Mano’s dialogues like ‘First time Christina changed, don’t forget that all this is necessary’, his military body  lan guage and timing dialogues remind Mano of ‘Singaravelan’.

He has shown that Tamil cinema needs to use him a lot as a comedy material. Megha Akash has acted in green matte with ‘cute’ facial expressions. Anju Kurian has contributed to the story. Magaba Anand, KBY Bala, Sara, Bhagwati Perumal have realized the character.The song ‘Smartphone Senorita’ by Leon James keeps you hum ming even after the film is over. His background music perfectly sets the mood for the plot. Arthur A. Wilson’s camera absorbed the light around it and produced images. The graphics are not bad and remind you of the bu dget.Some parts of the film are not tiresome, giving the feeling of watching a spoof version of ‘Endran’.

We have to wait when the next comedy in the film will come sir. The reason is that there is nothing beyond that in the film, and the humorous dialogues at some places are stilted at moments that are meant to be funny. The fi lm, which covers the pros and cons of artificial intelligence technology, does not cross the line of comedy and s hrinks into an overall comedy-drama.On the whole, ‘Single Shankar and Smartphone Simran’ is less likely to di sappoint the expectations of the audience who do not expect any interesting twists and turns, but go beyond lo gic violations.

Siva as Shankar, Megha Akash as the smartphone girl “Simran”, Anju Kurian as Tulsi and singer Mano as Siva’s fa ther have given full performances. Especially Siva is back on screen as a global superstar. He makes the audi ence laugh with his body language and one-liners. At the very beginning of the film, the story begins with a card sayin g, “Don’t watch logic”. So we also easily connect with the story without looking at the logic. Will this happen in fu ture technology? If that is the light for the technologies themselves. But the director has jokingly told what will happen if everything comes like this. He has tackled a different plot and succeeded in it.

Similarly, it is a good comeback film for heroines Megha Akash and Anju Kurien. Megha Akash has beautifully ex pressed her love for any technological creation and what she would do as an average girl if that doesn’t happen. Anju Kurien, who comes as a real love interest, is entertaining. But he doesn’t have much scenes in the story. Ma no, a singer who has lost his wife, is looking for a girl for his next marriage. Also KBY Bala, Mottai Rajendran in th e climax scene and Lollu Saba Sesu try to make people laugh. Apart from them, the characters of Magaba Anand and Divya Ganesh have been handled well. Although the film is focused on technology, the climactic scene is not the same as the story. A comedy film in the middle of action and romantic films. So the single Shankar and the sm artphone Simran, which come with a different story, must be watched.
