Aha Tamil presents “Udanpaal” creates a record crossing 1 Crore Plus Streaming Minutes
D Company Producer K.V. Durai’s ‘Udanpaal’, directed by debut filmmaker Karthik Seenivasan, which had its rec ent worldwide OTT premiere on Aha Tamil, has scaled more than 1Cr streaming minutes, thereby setting a new benchmark of record.
Udanpaal, bankrolled by producer K.V. Durai of D Company, marks the directorial debut of Karthik Seenivasan. The film features Charlie, ‘Sethupathi’ fame Linga, actress Gayathri, actress Abarnathi, Vivek Prasanna, KPY Dh eena, Nakkalites Dhanam, and many others in the star cast. The film was premiered on Aha Tamil on December 30, 2022.
The film, which is a ‘Black Comedy’ set against family backdrops revolves around the theme of how money ruins relationships, by letting people go to any extent for the sake of acquiring it. Furthermore, the film imparts a beau tiful message on how one should respect and love their parents.
Udanpaal won the heart of film critics and family audiences, thereby scaling more than 1 Crore streaming minut es on Aha Tamil. Marking this grand success, the film’s crew along with Aha Team celebrated the occasion by cut ting the cake and thanked the critics and fans for their support.
Madhan Christopher has handled the cinematography for Udanpaal, which is a family entertainer laced with humour and emotions. Sakthi Balaji (Music), MSP Madhavan (Art), & G. Madan (Editing) are the other technicians.
