Story-;
A couple who have been childless for years go to the Bhairava temple to pray for a child. At that time a Siddhar comes there and the couple satisfies his hunger. The Siddhar, who has lost his mind, gives the couple a dog. When the dog comes, Naishekhar (Vadivelu) is born as a child on one side, and wealth and fame pour down on the other side. Meanwhile, Rao Ramesh, who joins the house as a servant, comes to know about the dog and steals it away. So instead of him becoming a millionaire, Naisekar’s family sinks to the bottom of poverty. Following this, Naish ekhar takes his team to recapture the dog. Did he rescue the dog in the end? Whether or not is the rest of the story.

Movie Review-
Even though Vaikaipuyal Vadivelu has not acted in films for the past few years, memes are being made based on his dialogues. He is meeting his fans everyday through memes. It is in this context that some of Vadivelu’s famou s dialogues in the movie Nai Shekhar Returns are enjoyed unknowingly. But that’s where the fun stops. Director Suraj doesn’t attempt to craft an interesting script for Nai Shekhar Returns. He made the film based on Vadivel u’s old jokes. There are some good comedy scenes in the second half but the film doesn’t do much.Nai Shekhar Returns begins with the introduction of smugglers Das (Anand Raj) and Nai Shekhar (Vadivelu). Das kidnaps wo men, Nai Segaro kidnaps expensive dogs for money. Trouble starts when Nai Shekhar kidnaps Das’s favorite dog. After this, Nai Shekhar learns about his family’s past, the kidnapping of their zodiac dog.
The second half shows Nai Shekhar trying to rescue their family’s zodiac dog from Max, a mall in Hyderabad. The story is whether Nai Shekhar will win in his efforts.A hero who kidnaps dogs is a different story. But they lost it without knowing how to handle it interestingly. Those who went to the theater hoping to laugh at the Vadivelu film, have not been able to laugh.Only Anand Raj’s one-liners saved the film. The scenes between him and Vadiv elu are enjoyable. Apart from this there is nothing else in the film. Shivani Narayanan, who plays Max’s sister, ap pears in most of the scenes in the second half. Shivani has realized her character and acted.Shivangi comes shor tly. But he was never given a chance to act. Redin Kingsley should have focused on his comedic timing.It’s a joy to see Vadivelu on the big screen. He has transformed into his character and is amazing.
Vadivelu’s comeback film Nai Shekhar Returns would have been a film fans would have celebrated if only the scr eenplay had been better. But that didn’t happen.Santhosh Narayanan’s songs and background score helped in th e first half. Nai Shekhar Returns does not lend a hand to Vadivelu. Let’s hope that he entertains us with great rol es from now on. If we want to say more, we can say that they are what lifted his lost market among the produce rs. It was at this stage that the news of his re-entry through the film ‘Nai Shekhar Returns’ made his fans even mo re happy. Apart from this, the fans came to the theater with high expectations to raise the expectation that the film will be like this in the interviews that took place.
But if the film met such expectations, the answer is that it did not. None of the comedies from the start of the fil m till the end of the first half work out. Just the scenes keep moving. Another bad thing about this is that Vadiv elu’s famous lines spoken in the previous films in the name of his comeback have been inserted in those scenes. They don’t even fit perfectly in one place. Although Vadivelu’s performance is nothing to fault, he acted in the sa me template style as seen in old films.. Is there anything new for us? Which begs the question. Although there ar e many comedians in the film apart from Vadivelu, the one that stands out in our mind is Anand Raj and Kingsley. There was no major change in Kingsley’s performance. Prashant’s performance was laughable. The film gets a bit engaging as it goes into the plot of how the second half of the dog is rescued.
Especially in the second half, the scenes where Anandraj takes place are laughable. Bigg Boss Shivani like in all the films is using the empty pickle of glamor in this too. Vadivelu’s comedies made his mark in films including ‘Th alayanagaram’ and ‘Marudamalai’ directed by Suraj. That being the case, how should the film where he and Vad ivel come together? Suraj had given the first scene like pearl scissors. Most of the scenes are uninteresting exc ept for a few. He also doesn’t really give comedy importance to the characters. Santhosh Narayanan’s music is okay but it lacks the stamp of his earlier films which is disappointing. Although Vadivelu is the biggest comedy Zimbabwean, he also needs a proper platform to stand up and play. The truth that stands out here is that Suraj did not set that right field. Do introspection Vadivelu.
