Story-;
Rajkiran is known as the best kabaddi player in the town of Kalayar Kovil. He lives as a joint family of son, daugh ter, grandson and granddaughter. He has two wives. His first wife and his son die. Radhika is his daughter-in-law. Atharva is the son of Radhika. Due to an old family feud, Radhika and Atharva are living alone. Atharva struggles to somehow bring the family together.But Rajkiran’s entire family refuses to accept Atharva. Rajkiran gets more respect in the village than the Panchayat Council President because he defeated the royal clan in the kabaddi to urnament that no one could defeat at that time. Not only that, Rajkiran is flying the flag in the Kabaddi tournam ent for three generations. This does not go down well with his friend who happens to be the town president.
Also, Rajkiran keeps only Atharva and his mother Radhika away from the family due to an old problem. Then Rajkiran’s grandson Chelliah gets a chance to play in the Pro Kabaddi tournament. Sadakoman, the son of the Panchayat Chairman, does not like this. Then he hatches a conspiracy along with his grandfather to the point of making Rajkumar’s family leave the town. Chellaya misses out on playing in the Pro Kabaddi tournamet.Frus tr ated by this, Chellaya commits suicide. After this, Atharva challenges his family to compete against the village and win the kabaddi tournament to prove his brother’s innocence. But Atharva does not know how to play kab addi. Did Rajkumar’s family win kabaddi in the end? Did they tear off the mask of the villains? Did the villagers accept Rajkumar’s family? That is the climax of the film.
