Aarau, a powerful killer who works underground for corporates, is assigned to find, destroy and report on corporate leakers and those who benefit from them. Who is Udhayanidhi, the single man who is pandering to corporates..? Why is he doing all this in such a big way..? Who is behind him..? Is Uday trapped in the murderous chase of Aarav who is chasing like a hound…or has he escaped…?
Answering many such questions is the ‘rebellion leader’. Director Mizhesh Thirumeni has made an interesting fa st-paced action thriller film about the mercenary mafias working for the corporates and how the encroachm en ts and atrocities of some corporates that we have not heard much about affect even the common man somew h ere. One can appreciate Mahigha for showing on screen that a racy thriller can be told without losing interest wi thout having to speak page after page of dialogue against the politics of corporates. The film is a solid mileage for Udhayanidhi as the protagonist. Thirumaran, who hides his identities without speaking much, shines in many di mensions like anger, crying, love and action. The fact that the story has designed very natural action scenes that suit him adds to the believability of the character.
He can narrate the incidents of Udhayanidhi’s action, especially that of Udayanidhi. Nidhi Aggarwal as the hero ine. Without saying love to Udhayanidhi, he licks our hearts like ice cream in the places where we melt inside. Us ually, the love episode in the films of Majid Thirumeni is like a cute bokeh. Though the love episode in Kalagath T halaivan is cute, the love scenes in the middle of parapara chasing scenes reduce the intensity. Udhayanidhi tel ls about the characteristics of women with their handbags, ‘In those days it was Basanga who rejected girls. This is our time. Dance to the beat, girls!’ A nice touch like an old lady talking. Aarav of ‘Bigg Boss fame’ has taken on a more powerful villain than the hero throughout the film. The scenes in search of Udayanidhi and getting closer b ring us to the edge of our seats. Aarav brutally torturing the suspects caught by him is a bit over violent. The de piction of violence against women in particular needs some attention
