AZADI KA AMRIT MAHOTSAV BI-CYCLE RALLY BY DEFENCE CIVIL EMPLOYEES
As part of 75th Independence Day celebrations “Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav” celebrated throughout the country, the office of Controller of Defence Accounts (CDA) Chennai conducted a “Bike Rally”.
The rally began from Chennai Nandambakkam Defence Accounts Department Residential complex and culmina ted at CDA Office at Teynampet. The rally was flagged off by Thiru. T.Jayaseelan, IDAS, CDA Chennai. Around 10 0 officials participated in the rally, which saw the excited support from general public throughout.
CDA Chennai is a vast organization with a work force of around 800 officers and staff headquartered in Teyna mpet, Chennai with offices located in Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. CDA Che nnai provides financial advice, Auditing, Accounting and Payment coverage to Defence Forces. CDA Chennai is also responsible for payment of Pensions to more than 1 lakh Defence veterans.
