Yogi Babu and Karunakaran starring comedy entertainment film Panni Kutty is released in theatres today. This movie receives good responses from the viewers, and positive reviews flow from the audience. Panni Kutty Ta mil movie is directed by Anucharan. A. Subaskaran produces the film. Panni Kutty has centred the theme of Supe rstitious. The movie is travelling about many fun elements keeping the pig as a centric character. The love track is also well workout with the merge of counter comedies. As usual, Yogi Babu has attracted the audience with his natural humour sense.Yogi Babu and Karunakaran searched for a piglet and fought to own the little Piglet. Most of the comedy scenes are well worked in the movie. Why are they in search? Will they catch the Piglet? Who will own the Piglet? What is the reason behind the story? Are the rest of the storyline.

LYCA productions produces this comedy film film that is written and directed by Anucharan Murugaiyan. Anu ch aran gave an interesting Kirumi as his debut film and followed up by being associated with “Suzhal” that was rave d by everyone. There is a piglet in the film that wanders aimlessly in the village and is pivotal to the happe nings in the film, the screenplay of the film too is somewhat like the piglet but bereft of interest. The film with a rural background looks jaded and despite the presence of a decent array of comedians pulls out jokes that hardly amu ses the viewer. The plainness and the minimalist approach of the script and the production values is a huge dow ner.
Yogi Babu tries his best to keep it interesting. Karunakaran is good too. Bijli Ramesh, TSR and Singam Puli are O K. Leoni is a caricature and doesn’t impress. The rest of the cast are just there.Sathish Murugan’s cinematog rap hy is functional. Krishna Kumar’s music is standard. Anucharan’s editing is lazy. Dialogues are OK and direc tion unimpressive.PANNI KUTTY is a film that you would want to stay away from. Anucharan’s promising debut Kiru mi gave us the belief that he is among the new crop of filmmakers we need to watch out for. Recently, his Suzh a l — which he co-directed with Bramma — reaffirmed that belief. Barely a few weeks after basking in the success of the series, Anucharan’s Panni Kutty hits screens. And that is not good news.
A wannabe comedy-of-errors, this Anucharan directorial — supposed to release in 2019 — looks dated with its juvenile plot and an archaic set of jokes that make you want to pull out your hair. Armed with a battalion of co medy actors such as Karunakaran, Yogi Babu, Ramar, Thanga Durai and Singam Puli, Panni Kutty tries to play to their strengths, as Anucharan takes the hit. A piglet runs amok splitting two groups in search of it. At least this seems to be the idea on paper. If that were the case, Panni Kutty needed a meaty script, bigger budget and a bett er set of actors.Every “joke” you get is a half-joke. You wait for the actual “joke” to surface at some point but it turned out to be a long and unsatisfying wait. I heard scattered laughs from the cast and crew with whom I caug ht the show. Perhaps they are obliged to laugh. I am not.
