Over 100 Volunteers have joined hands to paint the 265 meters’ of creative murals on Mount Road to spread awareness about the Sadhguru led campaign

Chennai, May 30, 2022: Legendary Yezdi Motorcycles has collaborated with Save Soil Movement launched by Sadhguru. The movement intends to raise human consciousness on the soil crisis by bringing together people worldwide to stand up for Soil Health, a growing concern over the lack of organic content that’s turning soil into sand. This has the potential to reduce biodiversity leading to the extinction of several species of flora and fauna, triggering food crisis and water scarcity, exacerbating climate change, and ultimately leading to loss of livelihood, migration, and even conflict.

 The journey of this movement started in London, UK, and will pass 26 countries with a total of 30,000 km in 100 days. Currently, Sadhguru’s journey in India has commenced from Jamnagar and has reached Jaipur in India, while raising awareness of the campaign. 

In India, the events will be held in Jaipur, Delhi, Lucknow, Bhopal, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Mysuru, and Coimbatore. To further raise awareness, the volunteers in Chennai have painted colorful and attractive murals on Mount road near YMCA. The murals depict various facts and figures and campaign messaging on how the soil is essential and could affect our daily lives in the near future.

The 265 meter long mural also depicts Sadhguru riding a Yezdi Adventure motorcycle as a part of the collaboration.

Why Save Soil?

Save Soil is a global movement launched by Sadhguru, to address the soil crisis by bringing together people from around the world to stand up for Soil Health, and supporting leaders of all nations to institute national policies and actions toward increasing the organic content in cultivable Soil.
