VISIT OF INSPECTOR GENERAL ANAND PRAKASH BADOLA, TM, COMMANDER COAST GUARD REGION (EAST) TO KARAIKAL
Inspector General Anand Prakash Badola, TM, Commander, Coast Guard Region (East) visited the Indian Coast Guard Station at Karaikal on 05-06 Apr 22 to review Operational Preparedness and Infrastructure Developmen t.
During his visit the Station Commander has briefed the Regional Commander regarding the Operational Deploy ment of CG Ships, prevailing Coastal Security Scenario, Search and Rescue efforts for safety of fishermen, Joint Coastal Patrols alongwith Marine Police and Progress of erection of Radar Stations as a part of Coastal Security Scheme Phase-II in coordination with M/s Bharat Electronics Limited.
The Inspector General reviewed the Infras tructure Projects which are being executed by MES to provide Marrie d Accommodation for the CG Personnel, Other than Married Accommodation viz., Administrative Building, Med ical Inspection Room, Inliving Accommo dation of CG Enrolled Personnel and progress of land acquisitions and berthing facilities at Karaikal Port.
The Regional Commander lauded the efforts of the Station in providing Credible Logistics support to the CG Ships during their Operational Turn Around at Karaikal and for maintaining High Op tempo in the area of respo nsibility. The Regional Commander also interacted with the Officers, Enrolled Personnel & CG Civilians at Kara ikal and urged everyone to maintain high Professional Standards and Operational Efficiency of Ships.
