After tasting success in film distribution, Screen Scene Media Entertainment Private Limited ventured into pro duction and bankrolled movies like Iruttu, Dharala Prabhu and MGR Magan.
The production house’s two more projects Idiot and Saani Kaayidham are gearing up for release. In the meanti me, Screen Scene, which has signed a three-film deal with Jayam Ravi, today released the title and first look of the first project among the three. The mega budget film has been named Agilan.
Set in the backdrop of a harbour, major portions of the film were shot in Thoothukudi port, while some importan t scenes were canned in Kasimedu, Chennai. Around 80 per cent of the shoot is over. With the upcoming sched ule which is going to take place at the largest container base in Gujarat, the shoot will be wrapped.
The movie’s unit says Agilan will be a novel attempt in Tamil cinema and Jayam Ravi’s characterisation and per formance will be talked about. Sam CS is scoring the music for Agilan. Vivek is handling the cinematography, while Vijay Murugan takes care of the art department.
The tile and first look of Jayam Ravi’s upcoming film produced by Screen Scene Media Entertainment Private Li mited and directed by N Kalyana Krishnan were released today. Titled Agilan, the film will hit the screens during summer 2022.
