JCI, Nikhil Foundation come together to empower youth 

Chennai, December: 

JCI Chennai Synergy Kings along with Nikhil Foundation Madurai conducted an event titled ‘Empowering Youth at Hussain Higher Secondary School at Ramapuram in Chennai . As many as 120 students from classes  9, 10 participated in the event. JC.R.Vivekraja, Zone Vice President ( ZONE XVI) JCI India was the Chief Guest. Thirukural Gavanakar Thiru Neyveli Pandian was the Guest of Honour.

Knowing yourself, Memory, Communication, Self analysis and Goal setting are the topics that were taught during the training. The session was conducted from 10 am to 3 pm by experienced trainers Mr.Ramasamy ,  Mr.Hussain Basha , Mr.Jayaprakash , Mr.A.S.Mohan , Ms.Christy Henitha , Mr.Gunabalan who were qualified in their respective fields.

Junior Chamber International (JCI),  is a non-profit international non-governmental organisation of young people between 18 and 40 years old. It has members in about 124 countries, and regional or national organisations of most of them.

Nikhil Foundation was founded in memory of N Nighileswaran, youngest son of Nagalingam, who passed away in an accident. Nighileswaran wanted to encourage students and this trust aims at doing it. Thiru.S.NAGALINGAM  IRS ( RETD) was the founder. The foundation was registered on 27 October 2007 and prior to this event, they have conducted 516 events in which 2,04,890 students have benefitted.
