INDIAN COAST GUARD REGION (EAST) COMMEMORATES THE GOLDEN JUBILEE OF 1971 WAR VICTORY
The “Swarnim Vijay Mashaal” symbolising victory of Indian Armed Forces in the 1971 War was received by Indian Coast Guard Region (East) at Coast Guard Air Station, Chennai on Wednesday 28 Jul 2021. Inspector General Anand Prakash Badola, TM, Commander Coast Guard Region (East) received the Victory Flame along with war veterans and personnel of Indian Coast Guard. A Guard was paraded to mark the occasion and a wreath-laying ceremony was held as a tribute to the martyrs of the 1971 war. Five War Veterans were also felicitated by the Indian Coast Guard during the Function.
