XLRI to Host a Leadership Talk with Dr. K V Subramanian
15th June 2021: Ex-PGDM Placement committee, XLRI in its ‘XLRI Leadership TALK SERIES 2021’ is organizing a Leadership Talk Session with Dr. Krishnamurthy Subramanian – Chief Economic Advisor to Government of India on “Economic Reforms” on Friday 18th June 2021 in virtual mode.
XLRI Talk Series is designed to appreciate and learn from leaders’ experiences from all walks of life. The talk ser ies kicked off in 2017. It is an initiative to develop different perspectives while addressing the challenges in a hi ghly dynamic environment. Since then, many eminent personalities from different domains and parts of the co untry have provided invaluable knowledge, experiences, and insights, which have certainly enhanced the lea rning curve for all the students.
The audience would be an eclectic mix of MBA students across various fields viz., IT, Manufacturing, Banking, Marketing, Engineering, Aviation & Shipping, Oil & Gas, Education, etc.
The XLRI Ex-PGDM batch of 2021-2022 is a diverse group of people with exemplary skills. All the batch student s have a minimum of 5 years of experience in various roles in different industries and sectors. The batch is very active and keen and has taken several initiatives to further develop its expertise in various fields.
Dr. Krishnamurthy Subramanian is an Indian economist and the current Chief Economic Advisor to the Govern ment of India. He is a leading expert on economic policy, banking, and corporate governance. He is an alumnus of IIT Kanpur, IIM Calcutta, and the University of Chicago.
Dr. Subramanian has been conferred the Distinguished Alumnus Award by his alma mater IIT-Kanpur. Apart fro m being the young est Chief Economic Advisor, Subramanian, is among the youngest to receive this honor from his alma mater. His research in banking, law and finance, innovation and economic growth, and corporate gove rnance has been published in the world’s leading journals.
